Oh and I LOVE accents. I'm fascinated by the way the same words sound so different. Even between people of the same country, let alone different nationalities...

On this theme - I had a lovely encounter with a woman in the bank a little while ago. I detected a "something accent" and, being the nosey inquisitive bastard that I am, I had to ask about it. It turned out that she's Kenyan, but has lived here for a couple of decades, so her accent has softened over time. I could hear her original accent on some words, and different accents on others (she's at least partly of Indian heritage and spoke two languages from that, plus English and Swahili).

If there had been any other customers there then I'm sure we'd have annoyed them, because they would have had to wait while we chatted for a good 15-20 minutes about our respective experiences living in foreign countries. If nothing else good happens today, and on past experience that's the most likely outcome, it will still have been a lovely day just because of that encounter.

I only do hair wash shower once a week but it’s also the everything shower.

Also … wash your hair twice people. Rinse and repeat. It’s not just a funny thing they put on the bottles. It’s the actual instructions.
