I'm sad to say I think the first time I lost my virginity, it was quiet. It wasn't romantic at all. My parents were out of town, and I had my girlfriend in my bedroom. I don't even think I penetrated her. I just rubbed in between her lips a few times and came in a condom. I swear I've gotten better, though!

I'm not a huge fan of Harsh Realm. It definitely has its issues. But seeing that I have so much of the Chris Carter universe on DVD, I had to get it when it came out.

I also got the comic it's based on...almost completely different from the show. "Loosely based on" would be the most accurate statement lol

Millennium is by far my favorite though.

Yeah, I was a fan of the comic, so that sort of tainted the show for me. Also only showing three episodes before it got cancelled. I haven't seen the others.

Yeah canceling a show after 3 episodes really sucked, especially since Harsh Realm was the reason Millennium got canceled before 2000, which really sucked.

So I’m wondering … what’s your relationship age gap?

If you were single … what the oldest and youngest you’d consider dating?

The golden rule seems to work for me; 1/2 my age + 7 on the young side (Late 20s). I'd date up to 15 years my senior, but on an exceptional case situation. I'm more comfortable in the decade +/- realm.

Is there a particular moment of time… an event.. that if you were dating someone and they didn’t know about it, or weren’t alive for it…. Would make you question whether you wanted to continue dating them?

I mean, the obvious - 9/11. What's crazy about that though - I deployed with "kids" that were alive but too young to really remember it happening. That's INSANE. By the time I got out, there were people serving in deployed locations that weren't even alive when it happened. That's not right.

Other than that, no one event. If there's an ignorance to a whole lot of events, it's probably not a good match for me.

It was quite a scary thing even at 21. I can only imagine how younger children felt.

I think there is a line where it just didn't make a difference. They only "knew" the world as it existed after that day.
It's like my younger kids - by the time they're adults, most of their life will be spent in a post-covid world, and it is different now.
