It was quite a scary thing even at 21. I can only imagine how younger children felt.Same...though I was slightly older and two days away from turning 24.

What was eerie for me was watching the pilot episode of The Lone Gumen (X-Files spinoff) earlier that year had a plot of stopping a plane going into the World Trade Center...the world definitely changed after that.It was quite a scary thing even at 21. I can only imagine how younger children felt.

Not an ex, but, I have a friend that somehow had never heard of the 2004 Tsunami. Is there a particular moment of time… an event.. that if you were dating someone and they didn’t know about it, or weren’t alive for it…. Would make you question whether you wanted to continue dating them?
So she could date Kennedy then. It’s interesting the global moments that leave an impression on us. My mum used to say she could never date anyone who wasn’t alive when Kennedy was shot.
My 8 year old laptop can’t run Civilazation VII, might be time for a new one.Games are getting absolutely ridiculous... Can't wait to finish my backlog and get to Kingdom Come 2Is this the real life...

Mid 30’s to 60 would be my guess. Honestly depends on the person. But yeah, I don’t want my partner to look like she could be my kid or I could be her kid.View attachment 2490357
So I’m wondering … what’s your relationship age gap?
If you were single … what the oldest and youngest you’d consider dating?
How could someone have been in their teens and not heard of that? It’s the worst single day event that’s happened this century. Not an ex, but, I have a friend that somehow had never heard of the 2004 Tsunami.
We were both in our late teens back then...

I think the real Chris Carter test is Harsh Realm. Now the real question...have you seen Millennium?
I have the DVDs of that too! And a soundtrack!I think the real Chris Carter test is Harsh Realm.
You’re a bigger fan than I.I have the DVDs of that too! And a soundtrack!
I'm not a huge fan of Harsh Realm. It definitely has its issues. But seeing that I have so much of the Chris Carter universe on DVD, I had to get it when it came out. You’re a bigger fan than I.. I’d like to rewatch Millenium, but think I’m good on HR…:I dunno…:maybe it aged well. But I’m not upset that I can’t.
Brings to mind that classic question, "If you could live in any era of history, or the future, where would you go?"It’s interesting the global moments that leave an impression on us. My mum used to say she could never date anyone who wasn’t alive when Kennedy was shot.
