Without wanting to go too far down the 'discussing capitalism's failings' rabbit hole, your contention isn't entirely true. Agreed, porn is purely made based on what people click on. But let's imagine that we have a test subject who has never viewed porn before but is curious. He/she/they clicks on Pornhub for the first ever time in his/her/their life. What will they be presented with? I would contend that they will be presented with a wall of white bodies with a few black guys thrown in the mix, and perhaps an Asian woman. Now, let's assume that our test subject has a) never viewed porn before and b) has no initial preferences and is content to sample what the site has presented. At that point the choice they make will be dictated by the initial choice the site presents them with - let's say, based on the probability of limited range of the initial offering, some reasonably vanilla one-on-one caucasian sex. The algorithm will then note that choice and present more of the same, further limiting exposure to other forms of choice, as the test subject has already 'expressed their preference' and the site will be presenting them with what they clearly like.

Of course, our test subject is likely to modify their searches as time goes on but at least in the beginning their choices will be, due to their own inexperience, dictated by the site, and over time and in large numbers this skews the market. And this is central to the fallacy of the supply and demand argument - the first time you step into a supermarket the things you can choose from on the shelves are not dictated by your demands, but by the demands of your predecessors, and their predecessors, and so on (and, of course, the demands of the suppliers who manipulate the free availability of goods by paying to have their product presented in the best possible way to you). The same is true of a porn site - the first time someone clicks on it they aren't presented with a representative sample of what the site has to offer, they are presented with what other people most often click on, which in itself has been skewed somewhat by the mechanics of the algorithm.

Of course, to some extents supply and demand is a real thing - it absolutely affects costs and prices, for example. But we need to remember that choice is and always has been something of an illusion.

This depends greatly upon the country you are from where you click.
With another porn site you can choose which country you wish to view porn from.
If you choose an African country you are faced with 90% black participants.
An Asian country you are faced with 90% Asian participants.
In a country with a majority white population you're going to get a majority of white participants until you refine your search.

I personally enjoy watching very thick black women in porn, and there are more choices than ever.
I see thick black amateur women content that gets millions of views.
Just like YouTube has changed the face of television, free Amateur porn content has changed the face of porn.
It is more purely supply based on demand with more equal representation than it has ever been.
If there is a niche of demand someone will supply it.

I'm sure there are social reasons, but honestly I've never noticed as my feed on pornhub often has a few videos that feature black women on it. That said I am one of those that has a profile with videos liked and favorited. Now my feed may vary depending on what I have watched recently but usually there are a few suggested to me.
