It had taken every ounce of willpower she had possed to even get the courage to talk to Edward, and he seemed to turn her down. Instead of taking her up on her offer to, well spend time together, he pawned her off on one of his friends. And that friend didn't seem to thrilled about it either. As a matter of fact, none of his friends seemed happy when she stopped him. They all seemed, well, protective of him, as if someone might end up hurting Edward.
Just the thought of that brought a smile to her face as she walked to her next class. She didn't think anyone or anything could hurt Edward. He seemed, well, invincible.
The rest of the day seemed to drag by for her. She didn't see Edward or his friends the rest of the day, yet her thoughts kept drifting to Edward all day.
Her art class was her last one of the day and she was glad for it. It was the one time of the day that she knew it would be okay for her day dreams to take flight. As she sat at her area of the table, she began to draw the images in her mind. His eyes, his hair, the way his smile showed off the dimples in his cheeks. Her mind was just completely consumed by Edward. She allowed her mind to dift away from her and just drew what she felt.
As she walked to her truck, she seemed to be oblivoius to what and who was around her. Cassandra was waiting for her at the truck and had startled Tessa when she said hello, causing Tessa to drop her books. Her sketch pad had fallen open and she noticed Cassandra's eyes fall to the page it opened to and picked it up.
"You know," Cassandra sneered, "this will never happen, not in a million years." She looked at the sketch again and basically threw it at Tessa.
Tessa glanced down at it, and tured a little red at what Cassandra had seen. It was the picture she had drawn of herself and Edward in a very intimate embrace.
"Here's the thing, I will help you with what I can, but only because Eddie asked me to. And learn this and learn it well, he is mine and not up for grabs." Cassandra informed her as she cornered Tessa afgainst her own truck.
"Sure, oookay," Tessa stammered. Something about CAssandra scared her just a bit. She took the piece of paper that she had handed her.
"Meet me her tonight around 8 and I will get you as caught up as I can. And don't be late!" Casandra said as she walked of and left Tessa stnding there, staring at the picture of her and Edward together. She thought about tearing it up, but for some reason she couldn't bring herself to do it.
