She was glad that Alexander took her suggestion well, for she really did not feel up to an evening of sleeping out in the elements. Ever since Percy’s maid had arrived at the manor and given her the message from her Alexander, her world had been turned upside down.
Part of her had worried for her husband. Alexander was an honorable man, and she had feared that he would feel it necessary to fight for her honor. And while Alexander might do so, and could probably win an honorable duel, Percy was dishonorable and not above fighting with all the underhandedness of a totally dishonorable man. Lie, cheat, steal - all of those and then some. He certainly was one to covet his friend’s wife. And if he had done something so despicable as injure her Alexander, she would be sure to run a sword through the disgusting man’s body.
Now, all she really wanted to do was eat and sleep beside her husband. To be held in his arms. To know that she carried his child within her and was safe beside him.
But apparently Alexander had a different idea of spending the evening as he sat down wanting her to do some sexy dance for him while removing her clothes. His eyes lit up as she tried. She tried. She really tried but just was not able to and turned away. The last thing that she felt was sexy. She was hungry and tired and really did not feel like the dancing girl entertaining the Far East potentate. And memories of her husband standing in a bedroom with a naked Percy and a naked Bella and a half naked strange woman and with his manhood hanging out of his breeches danced through her head. And what really preyed on her mind was that his member was already starting to rise.
She turned away and he finally realized that she was not happy.
I rather jumped the gun there my love you said we should eat first then we get to grips eh m'dear?
Nodding, she kept her back to him and fastened her jacket back up. When she turned back around, the hint of her tears were gone and instead she gave him a weak smile.
“While I am still able to keep my food down, let us eat. Maybe if I am careful I can avoid seeing it come back up.”
