Can't do a NaNo, honey, for obvious reasons. Fall, Winter and Spring are worktimes. That's why I don't come hunt Arizona any more. Can't afford the time away. In a few years, though, I'll hook back up with Bill and after a good day, maybe we'll come by and drop off a few plucked and cleaned quail for you. I got lots of recipes!

NaNo is fantastic. It really puts you in the writing groove. It's going to be hard for me, but I'm going to do it again this year.

Mmmm... ever do quail in that cream sauce stuff. Just watch out for scraps of shot :eek: in the birds. Rule for my house: don't bit hard on anything they hunted with a shot gun. :rolleyes:

I guess what I meant was that I really don't do the whole "thing" that everyone here seems to get all excited about. I don't do competitions, I don't really feel all that "serious" about it. I like to write. I always have, but I'm not connected to the world like most people here are. I usually just muddle at it. It's cool that people like my story. Probably the only reason I'm still writing it. I have tons of stories on my hard drive that I've never finished because of lack of motivation. I don't think I've ever finished a story in my life. Falling will be my first.

First of all, dust those stories off and take another look at them. Your fans are waiting...

I don't do those things either. I just write what I see in my mind. It's like a movie to me. Full of life and color. It tickles me silly to see that someone else likes it too....

So if you are not "connected" to the world like them...neither am I...it's ok.:kiss:
