I was watching the extras on DVD recently, and finally found out why the Olympics theme sounded so familiar!

i actually really liked this show...
it was both
strangely odd
and
strangely familiar
right out of the box

and it came in that great first push of odd,
quirky,
network game changing shows
from the then new fox network...

the bcj theme music is so over the top
and yet still reminiscent
of big rambling old westerns
that it truly fit the quirkiness of the show....


that the theme survives and the show is all but forgotten
is probably fitting...

still, to know where the modern olympics "secondary" theme came from....

while we're at it...
the televised olympics main theme is quite "great?
