A new precedent has been established and it's not a good one. These cities on the verge of financial collapse have been written off by their political leadership.

Not having the votes to pass the senate immigration bill is not justification to deny the American people a voice in their government. People deserve a trial if for only one reason, to air out the complaints. Although the proceeding was legal it was also underhanded majority tyranny. So, in following your logic, the Republicans in the House that fail to bring a bill to the floor, such as funding for a border wall or support for a nation torn by war, would be failing to sit, listen, and vote on the said bill would be breaking their oath.

Let's do something about that. But then again, Mike Johnson failed at that, and he is a Republican. So no critque from Rightguard on that.
