Trump's Motion To Dismiss

Who? In what new war? What terrorism attack? In what way EXACTLY is Trump responsible for the death of "a lot of Americans"?

I note that the Dobbs decision seems to have done the opposite of what you claim. While Trump wasn't President at the time of the decision, his appointments to the court which were confirmed during his presidency were instrumental in making that decision. A decision which, according to reports, has already SAVED over 30,000 lives.

That's a FAR FAR CRY from what you're saying. In fact, it's the EXACT opposite. Maybe you should consider changing whatever news source you're using, or get one. Because whatever source you're using it's LYING TO YOU.
Donald Trump mishandled the pandemic.

If you wish to have a serious conversation with me, do so. You'll find, just as in this conversation, that I will converse quite calmly and politely.

Act like an asshole and the gloves come off.

So you see, the choice is really yours, not mine, as to whether you get the prize you can see or choosing what's behind door #2. Most here choose door #2 because they can't accept reality and therefore believe that the true reality of their fantasies is being hidden from them.
She's a ninny. She doesn't understand how big the world is outside her bubble so she advocates that her bubble is the one true way.

I don't have to be reasonable. My goal here isn't to be reasonable.

The ONLY thing I have to do is tell the truth. No spin, no bias, no ideology other than the truth.

Cultivating a similar outlook in life and Lit may help you better yourself and enjoy the company of those around you who aren't self destructive or nincompoops.

Donald Trump wasn't President in 2021.

Or did that info not make it into your socialist/Libtard bubble.
The Covid Pandemic began in Wuhan China in December 2019. It spread to the United States in March 2020, during the last year of Trump’s presidency.

"The US only has eleven cases of COVID in the US in Washington State. It is contained." ~ Dr. donald trump

As you know but don’t believe, I am NOT a fan of either Trump or Biden.

BUT - How exactly did Trump mishandle the pandemic in his last year of presidency? By your own words, COVID got here in March of 2020, which leaves 9 months before Biden took over.

Is it the not closing borders soon enough argument? Or telling Americans to not be concerned? I really do want to ge to the bottom of this issue and need some guidance.

Downplaying the severity of the threat. Encouraging people not to wear masks and take crackpot cures. Not using lockdowns to prevent it spreading like wildfire through the unprotected populace. Over 200,000 Americans died from Covid before Biden became President.

And you blame all 200k deaths (I don’t know if this is a confirmed number or not) on Trump directly?

Just curious if that’s the prevailing sentiment - and if so, do you think this will, in part, sink him in the election.

I made a mistake with the number. Actually, 400k Americans died during Donald Trump’s administration from Covid not 200k.

His mishandling of the pandemic was part of why he lost in 2020.

Of course it's not directly on Trump. Trump didn't go out and infect people with COVID.

Trump at first allowed the CDC to act in manners of which they should. He did try to close the border, but in a very ineffectual way. ( other world leaders did the same to be fair). However when it became apparent that further effort would need to be undertaken, he refused, since his base had started to whine and complain.

It was at this point that Trump, who was vaccinated, began to cave to that message from his supporters and then used the bully pulpit to attack the message out of the CDC. He made Fauci his personal whipping post. He promoted false and/or unreliable cures. Trump in his nine months or so completely sabotaged the viral professionals and their message, simply because that is what his base wanted him to do.

Trump is the leader of a cult, but I don't really think his cult can deliver a win, except through the EC. There is no way Trump will carry the popular vote.

Thank you. I get your position.

It’s important to note that while the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the U.S. under President Biden is on course to surpass the death count during the Trump administration, it has not yet done so. As of December 19, 2021, the total COVID-related deaths in the U.S. stood at 803,593, with nearly 455,000 of those deaths occurring in 2021 3.

Yes, Trump dug us into a hole we're still struggling to climb out of. The pandemic would be over sooner if people took masking and vaccination seriously, but unfortunately Trump also made pandemic denial a way to express MAGA identity.

No he didn't. The CCP did that and you defended them by shifting the blame to Trump. He was lied to by deep-state functionaries like Tony Fauci.

I'm fully vaccinated and wear a mask whenever I go someplace crowded. Many MAGA supporters are vocally anti-vax and consider wearing a mask an intolerable intrusion on their freedom.
