Name: Duncan “Swede” Khan.

History: Duncan or Swede as he had called by the other members of the human diplomatic core, was born on Kronos. Until the age of ten he was raised by his family, but at the age of ten his family was killed by several assassins hired by the faction within the Romulan government in return for blocking a treaty that the Romulan faction had wanted passed. He was taken in by a wealthy Klingon family who had ties to the Klingon military and ties to Starfleet.

At the age of fifteen, he was enrolled in university and at the age of sixteen left university and joined the Klingon Military to follow in his adopted fathers footsteps, where he moved up the ranks quickly though he was still young. At the age of nineteen, the ship he served on was attacked by raiders using older Romulan ships which belonged to the same romulan faction that had killed his parents. The Blue Fire (a light cruiser) had its engine compartment heavily damaged and the shields were down when Duncan was able to put a torpedo through the Romulan engines at the same time that a disruptor blast blew up most of the consoles on the bridge and killing the Captain and XO. With the Romulan cruiser gone, the scout ships exchanged a few more minor shots with the Blue Fire before jumping to warp speed and escaping.

With the majority of the command crew and officers killed, Duncan resumed command of the Blue Fire and was able to limp toward a Klingon base under impuse power escorted by another Klingon cruiser. The return trip took three months to return to base and the end of Duncan’s term of service in the Klingon navy. He was offered a Starfleet commission of Lieutentent at the helm of a starship.

i'm guessing you've been on ship for a while, and just haven't been actually mentioned. since you arriving would be rather difficult. like..VERY difficult. impossible even.

we're lost in a another GALAXY. we screwed the pooch worse than Janeway imagined possible.

Hey guys... I don't believe i'm just now getting to this, but for the past week or so I've been battling a chest infection, the flu and god knows what else. I've spent the last couple of days hacking my lungs up and generally not getting out of bed. So... I haven't been posting. I thought I'd already let everyone know - but i couldn't find post by me here at all. So sorry!
