He ignored her still. She was like a annoying fly buzzing about him at the moment. If she pestered him too much, he would swat her down. Nothing else mattered but the truth right now. He answered no questions. He did nothing to attack her or help her. She was a passenger or hostage. IF she proved troubling, he would shut her up.
He felt her growing anger in her situation but stayed focused on his research. It seemed any and all references to the Sith and to the Jedi were locked down by the one known as Palpatine who was also this Emperor character that was now dead. Nothing he did could help him. Nothing felt familiar to him with the computer systems. Sure they had systems like this too but it was an entirely different kind of system and set up. Honestly, he felt like he had pretty much run his course of what he could find on the systems.
A chirp indicated they had arrived at the coordinates of the system and he dropped the ship from hyperspace and then killed the engines. What he saw tore at his soul more than anything else in his life. Rather than a beautiful home system with the 12 planets, 3 of them habitable by his kind, all he saw was the remnants of a supernova.
He stood up from his seat and walked over to a clear steel port window and put his hand on it, watching. His entire life as he once knew it was gone. He knew that 10,000 years of time ensure he never see his family again, but to know that the system was still there could have brought him a bit of comfort. This however, this killed him. All he ever knew before the Sith was gone. There was nothing to go back to.
He could feel her just off behind him watching him and when he turned to face her, rage didn't feel his eyes. He felt sadness. A powerful loss in him so deep that he wanted to just plunge himself into space and let death finally take him. He turned and walked away, saying nothing. Doing nothing. He just walked towards the back of the transport, leaving the ship hanging powered down in space. He needed to think. He needed to process this. He needed to find some purpose for himself now.
He sat down in a main hangar in the middle of the deck and closed his eyes and meditated. He tapped into the source once more and felt it surge through him. Electrical tendrils crackled about him as he thought. His mind kept going back to this one they called Vader. He was a Sith. He was THE Sith apparently now dead by the rebels. Sith don't die in such pathetic ways as that. This Vader had to have some kind of lair. Some kind of secret place where he could channel his strength and power. He had one in Oreillia before he was put down. This Vader had to have had one too. The catch was to find it.
The thing about lairs such as this, is they tend to emanate HUGE amounts of the force and can be seen as beacons a great distance away. He didn't see anything right off but if he could focus just a bit, listen to the force, perhaps a name or a system would come to his mind. A place to go. A destination. He only had to concentrate his anger and rage and the answer would come to him.
