Sith Vengeance (Closed for ERedBoyd and Myself)

He ignored her still. She was like a annoying fly buzzing about him at the moment. If she pestered him too much, he would swat her down. Nothing else mattered but the truth right now. He answered no questions. He did nothing to attack her or help her. She was a passenger or hostage. IF she proved troubling, he would shut her up.

He felt her growing anger in her situation but stayed focused on his research. It seemed any and all references to the Sith and to the Jedi were locked down by the one known as Palpatine who was also this Emperor character that was now dead. Nothing he did could help him. Nothing felt familiar to him with the computer systems. Sure they had systems like this too but it was an entirely different kind of system and set up. Honestly, he felt like he had pretty much run his course of what he could find on the systems.

A chirp indicated they had arrived at the coordinates of the system and he dropped the ship from hyperspace and then killed the engines. What he saw tore at his soul more than anything else in his life. Rather than a beautiful home system with the 12 planets, 3 of them habitable by his kind, all he saw was the remnants of a supernova.

He stood up from his seat and walked over to a clear steel port window and put his hand on it, watching. His entire life as he once knew it was gone. He knew that 10,000 years of time ensure he never see his family again, but to know that the system was still there could have brought him a bit of comfort. This however, this killed him. All he ever knew before the Sith was gone. There was nothing to go back to.

He could feel her just off behind him watching him and when he turned to face her, rage didn't feel his eyes. He felt sadness. A powerful loss in him so deep that he wanted to just plunge himself into space and let death finally take him. He turned and walked away, saying nothing. Doing nothing. He just walked towards the back of the transport, leaving the ship hanging powered down in space. He needed to think. He needed to process this. He needed to find some purpose for himself now.

He sat down in a main hangar in the middle of the deck and closed his eyes and meditated. He tapped into the source once more and felt it surge through him. Electrical tendrils crackled about him as he thought. His mind kept going back to this one they called Vader. He was a Sith. He was THE Sith apparently now dead by the rebels. Sith don't die in such pathetic ways as that. This Vader had to have some kind of lair. Some kind of secret place where he could channel his strength and power. He had one in Oreillia before he was put down. This Vader had to have had one too. The catch was to find it.

The thing about lairs such as this, is they tend to emanate HUGE amounts of the force and can be seen as beacons a great distance away. He didn't see anything right off but if he could focus just a bit, listen to the force, perhaps a name or a system would come to his mind. A place to go. A destination. He only had to concentrate his anger and rage and the answer would come to him.

Lucinda paced, her nerves getting the best of her. She had to figure out a way out of this without loss of life, preferably her own. But she refused to let him kill anymore than he already had. Their blood, well, her hands were both colored red with it. She had insisted on waking the subject, the specimin. She should have take the proper precautions. She was not the only Collector, there were others. The ones she knew, tended to think she was nothing more than an amateur. Maybe she was. Maybe this was an amateur mistake. Others would have awakened him in a much more controlled environment. He was encased in carbonite. Only the worst of the worst suffered that fate, at least according to what she had read.

She had made a big mistake. And now she was stuck on her own ship, with him...

Her own ship... What the fuck was she doing being nothing more than a willing passenger on her own ship? When he had turned and looked at her, after confirming that his home planet had been destroyed, she saw the look of complete and utter sadness in his eyes. For the moment, the rage she had seen before was gone. But... would it stay gone?

Lucinda stayed in the shadows while he paced and then finally sat down to mediate. She could feel that power moving around him. Could feel his confusion, his despair. She got the sense he was even more dangerous when confused. Confusion, Despair and Anger were never good together. She had to take action, she had to end this.

That was when she moved. He was in the main hanger, a deck below the smaller bridge where the ship was flown. Right now, they hung dead in space. She was not about to die out here, with him, like this. She was not about to let him drag her all over the galaxy, the universe, or wherever he thought he was going.

He had caught her off guard before. She would not let him do that again. Retreating into the lift, she went back up to the bridge and quickly locked it down. The ship was powered up in an instant, a signal sent to the same New Republic Cruiser that had stopped them earlier. If they could get there, get him under control, she would be able to talk to him, once he was restrained safely, and learn what he was and how he was what he was. She still wanted to learn from him, but this was not the way she was going to do that...

The message fired off .... "Captain, my ship has been hijacked. Request help. USE CAUTION! HIGHLY DANGEROUS!"

She turned the ship back toward where they came from, merely retracing the route, but setting a "fastest possible" command for the computer to set the fastest route and speed back towards home. NO, she did not want him to hurt or kill anyone else. The Patrol Cruiser, with reinforcements, would meet them long before they got back to the planet.

He would know she had done something as soon as the ship started to move. The only weapon she had, up there on the bridge, was a laser pistol that was kept next to the pilot's seat, just in case, and she retrieved that. She didn't want to kill him. But she would if she had to....

The lurching of the deck was the first indicator that something was wrong. He had been so distracted by the loss of any hope of recovering his previous life he had not paid attention to his passenger! Rage roiled up in him white hot and he spun and raced back off the hangar deck to the lifts! He felt the ship lurch into hyperspace. As soon as he slipped inside and felt the lift raise up, he cursed when he felt the lift suddenly come to a complete stop, trapping him in between decks!

Rage boiled in him as he reached out with his powers and lashed out at her with his powers. He felt her throat suddenly tighten in a force choke! He could have easily have snapped her neck if he wanted to but he still needed her and he would use her one way or another.

He felt the panic growing from her as she struggled for air, while he turned his attention towards his own problem. Lighting his saber, he reached up through the top of the lift and cut a perfect circle out of the top corner of it. Stepping aside letting it fall to the deck, he stepped under the hole and leapt up through it to the top. He was stuck between the 3rd and 4th floor and needed to get to the 1st where the bridge was. He clipped the saber back to his belt as he felt out once more at the sheer terror coming from his prey, desperate to get air. He could feel her fight waning though.

He made a leap high into the air with the force pushing him up and caught the deck seal with his fingers. He grabbed his light saber and cut a whole through the door and crawled through! He felt his prey and her panic was in full mode though her fight was fading fast. She knew she was about to die.

Darth Huruk scrambled onto the 1st floor deck and then made a mad dash towards the cockpit! Without realizing it, he slammed into some kind of force field and bounced off it like he was a Derellian flyer hitting the crest of a wave! He spun backwards with his grip on the force slipping from her force choke! He felt her consciousness just barely clinging as he let go and got up, pulled his saber back to him and charged at it again. This time, he drove his saber into the ceiling and walls and floors just before the forcefield till he watched something in the floor explode and the force field dropped!

He stepped towards the bridge and felt the ship suddenly come out of hyperspace. He felt the door to the bridge was sealed but a drive of his saber into the locks opened it wide. He found her laying on the deck barely conscious and looking as scared as one could be. His first instinct was to kill her and move on but he needed her to guide him in this new time!

He looked up at the screen and saw that same Cruiser dropping from hyperspace and he saw warning lights on the ship indicating that weapons were locked on the vessel! He glanced back to the passenger and growled, "They die because of you!"

Darth Huruk turned and clipped the saber to his belt and then reached out with the force drawing it in like a unbridled cesspool of power! The entire cockpit crackled with uncontained power and he raised his hands out to his sides, then clamped them forward! The power he channeled was nearly as much as he could handle though as the ship ahead of him suddenly froze in it's movement towards him!

With intense focus, he locked his eyes on the bridge of the ship. He didn't have the ability to do this to the entire ship but could to a part of it. He reached into the cockpit with the power he wielded. He could feel the confusion and terror from inside that bridge as he began to pull on the supports within the bridge itself. He could brought his hands together as if gripping a large ball and began to squeeze as it pushing it into a small ball!

The portion of the bridge which was the tower on the cruiser began to crush under his command. He watched the the frame, supports, shell, and inner workings crushed into themselves! A few seconds later the area that had been the bridge exploded into a ball of fire which quickly dissipated!

To his surprise though, the ship's power began to flicker on the vessel and the entire cruiser lurched to one side. He sat down at the pilot seat and changed the course of the vessel once more! As the cruiser slipped off behind him, he could see the ship was now dead in the water. He pulled out a course away from this location pretty much in any direction and set it. He quickly lurched this ship back to hyperspace and away from danger!

Then, Darth Huruk stood up and slowly turned towards Lucinda! It was time to make her pay for her defiance.

He could see Lucinda holding a laser pistol aimed at him, though her hands trembled in holy terror. He reached out and yanked the weapon from her grip with the force then closed his hand on it, making it crumble like the Cruiser bridge had done before tossing it aside. He reached out once more and with the force, coiled some into her hair and walked past her, dragging her by the hair out of the bridge!

Darth Huruk felt her reaching up to try and grab at the force and to his dismay, she did manage to uncoil it as they were several feet away from the bridge! So startled that she did that to him, that he spun on her slapped her hard in the side of the head with his own hand, no force! He watched her crash into the deck once again, unconscious.

He used the force once more, grabbing her hair and dragged her to the Captain's Quarters room, this time with no fight at all from her. He tossed her onto the bed in the cabin and then looked about in her cabin for anything he could use as restraints. Clearly she can use the force he channeled somehow so he hesitated to use it on her until he could understand the nature of the powers she held.

Finding nothing of use, he headed out of the cabin to a storage room that held a number of valuables that looked to be part of a private collection of works. Things she seemed to be quite proud of it seemed.

His eyes glanced through the collection a moment and then froze at something of great interest to him! A pair of jet black force cuffs set in nearly pristine order inside a glass case! He laughed as he punched through it and pulled them out and looked at them. These cuffs were specially designed to nullify the ability of anyone wearing them from using the force in any fashion.

He found an old utility belt that was black with the Sith symbol on it as well in another case and removed it. He checked and found a grappler attached to the belt so now he had what he needed.

He turned and walked back out of the room to the Cabin and found her still laying on the bed, starting to move about. He grabbed her and flipped her onto her back and slapped the cuffs on her and then activated the field that would surround her. The force could be used on her, but she couldn't touch the force while wearing them. He wondered if she even had known what these really had been?

He reached into his utility belt and pulled the chord on the grappler and tossed it through one of the upper support beams, hooking the cuffs to them. As she was waking up, he pulled her feet and yanked on the cable, forcing her arms up and behind her. She had no choice but to bend over or risk popping her shoulders out of joint! He took the other end of the cable and bound it tightly to a side panel!

Darth Huruk walked around Lucinda was she assessing her current situation and he said, "You betrayed my trust! Now, you aren't a passenger, you are a prisoner. You are not going to enjoy being my prisoner now."
