Sadly, the last time I was at Hedo, the floats were all gone. There were three on my first trip in 1992. Then it was down to two, then one, and eventually they were all gone. But it's been a few years since I've been back. Maybe they replaced them? We can hope.

We've found that sand isn't quite as much of a problem if:
1) you have a blanket; and
2) it's warm enough to jump in the water after
