I want to see every part of you you are willing to share, and in my imagination can hear your cultured voice explaining the circumstances pertaining the shoot. -I know I ask too much!

I know you as a man of deep wisdom, ohverbatum, and therefore I would never accuse you of asking too much. You feed on knowledge.

I had wondered if you might also like a treatise on photo editing - it is very rare to see a photo that doesn't need a bit of help to make it fully presentable.

This post is only half in jest - people say they like the photos and the history that lies behind them, but opinions are also valuable on the technical aspects of the presentation. People these days do tend to take whatever comes out of their camera or mobile phone and distribute it far and wide with little regard for the quality of the product.

I think we should all take a bit more pride in our photos, there is enough dross in the world.

Pamela, yes you only have two, but each picture is never the same for it is just that one moment in time. It is a record for that time, and part of the enjoyment of looking and sharing pictures is the change in the body.. in the light.. even wind.

When my love was alive, we would take a set of a 100 pictures on our birthdays. WE had a record of that time in our lives..We enjoy going back and see the changes in our body's.. the hair cut LOL even broken bones.. in my case the scars add. That is one of my great lost is when the fire burn up 40 years of photos. I have not had a camera since when.

Maybe not share everyday but once a month or so.

Thank you, Slickrick. I suppose it is a very common hang-up, but I can never be sure that people are not going to be offended if I give them a view of my anus, even inadvertently. I remember playing nude in the garden when I was small - I never wanted to wear any clothes and my parents saw no problem with that and thankfully never suggested there was anything wrong with it. My grandmother, unfortunately, was rather uptight about my nudity, although most of the time she abided by my parents' instructions that she should not make any issue of it in front of me.

One day her resolve failed her and her underlying prejudices came out. We were in the garden. I can't remember quite what I was doing but it was something a bit acrobatic which involved bending down with my legs apart. I was hoping for some sort of praise but all my grandmother said was "Pamela, you shouldn't do that, no-one wants to see that". I knew from her tone that it wasn't my acrobatic trick that she didn't approve of, it was the view she had just had of my anus.

I think all children get quite a lot of conditioning about what is "polite" and what is not as they grow up, so my grandmother was probably not wholly to blame for my inhibition.

It is funny how events long past can suddenly pop up as reminders or warnings, and that happened when I first posed nude for members of the photographic club. I had been nursing a dream that one day, one of the rather dreary "portrait sessions" in the club studio might be transformed into a "nude portrait session" featuring me as the model. I felt too shy and inhibited even to hint at what I was thinking, but it did all come together totally unexpectedly. It was late summer, only a few photographers in the studio, and crucially, none of the creeps I didn't like.

Within fifteen minutes I was standing in front of them completely nude - my recollection now is of a group of photographers almost spellbound in front of me with every single pair of eyes fixed on my pubic hair and cunt. I think I was as transfixed as they were and I remember wondering whether I had made a big mistake and that they were actually shocked by what I had just done and didn't like what they were seeing. I was very aware that my nude debut was so sudden that things that I might have done such as trimming the spreading hair from my pubic area just hadn't been done. Looking back on that first semi-public exhibition of my pubic area it seems it was not so much a matter of "what you see is what you get" as "what you see is all of it".

I just stood there very uncertainly, and, is if my unruly pubic area wasn't enough to bother me, an image just popped into my head out of nowhere of my grandmother saying "they don't want to see that" . I am sure I froze for quite a long time - I was already in a panic about what I thought was messy and unattractive pubic hair, but now I had developed a deep fear that they might get to see my anus and be so disgusted they would ask me to leave.

With the passage of time it might all seem silly, but the reality is that I am sure I know people who think that an anus should never be seen, and who would be disgusted at the thought that I walk around my house and parts of the garden completely nude and that when I bend down to pick things up anyone behind will be able to see my anus.

So, Slickrick, your words are much appreciated. I know many people on Lit would agree with you, but I am pretty sure that deep down many people who say that like nude women (or maybe nude men) would in fact be disgusted if the nudity involved seeing the anus.

As you might guess, I fully agree with Slickrick, but how many other people actually take pleasure in seeing a nicely presented anus?

I was hoping to take a break during a modelling session for photo club members on someone's patio, but someone came up with camera, so I thought "what the heck, and smiled". He gave me the photo later and I reckoned I knew what had brought him over from the coffee table. p886

When I had got over my fear of offending my fellow photo club members by giving them an over-explicit rear view, they all seemed to agree that explicit rear views were indeed delightful, and I was in no doubt about how delightful it felt to me when I knew they had the clearest view possible. I could could feel the ripples of excitement right where they were looking, but just to be sure, I used a finger to ensure the degree of puckering was at its very maximum. We called these portrait sessions at the photo club. The photographers seemed to like it if I volunteered to be the model for the evening. I soon came to realise they seemed to like it even more if I didn't bother too much about underwear for our "portrait sessions" p952
