I think there are few people who can play in such a way that their guitar complements their voice so perfectly. His guitar tone is as clear as his voice. The way he accents certain notes is just brilliant.

This is truly one of the best songs ever written, in my opinion.

This song has a gorgeous build. It starts with a solo piano and slowly, sensually builds and builds. By the time the trumpet is wailing, you’ll blow your top.

He plays that country hammer-on a lot, and it sounds great. I need to learn how to play this JT fingerstyle.

He actually uses a very odd fingering for how he does those. I’ve never seen anyone else use his finger arrangements. He uses his pointer to do the hammer-ons. Very awkward to me.

I saw BOC once. The summer I graduated high school I went on a road trip with my best buddy. Our first stop was a Day on the Green concert in San Diego. They headlined. It was also the first time i dropped acid. That show was something else!!
