but i was just googling a long lost friend.. someone i had a connection with, but then we stopped some years back.

and i ran across her obit. and i'm in a bit of a shock.

i'm feeling sad. and lots of other emotions. and since her funeral is in a few days, i was going to send some flowers.

do you all think that's ok to do, since no one knew about me ?

Lot’s of the funeral homes have a “in lieu of flower” type deal. You could donate to American Heart or Hospice, ect…Either way, I don’t think it’s required to put your name on anything, so you don’t have to explain and the family shouldn’t care either.

So sorry for your loss.

If for others then send a big bunch of Roses with a witty card.
If for the relationship, hell with the others and send something from the heart.
