Mueller finding evidence of collusion. So is Congress.

It will be interesting to see how much Bob had dug up following the money.

We know the Russians spread bait all over the Rethuglicans, Pence, Ryan, McConnell, and other Congress Critters. How many will be implicated? How many will be charged? How many Democrats will be chastised?

With Trump poking the Fourth Estate and charging up the press, how many of his lies will be front page News for weeks come January?

Much ink will be spilled, photons liberated and bloggers fingers will be shredded in the aftermath!

Come on Bob get the party started, if you play your cards right we can start the crucifixions by Easter!:D

Answer: Watch who lawyers-up.

With Trump poking the Fourth Estate and charging up the press, how many of his lies will be front page News for weeks come January?
For a publicity-savvy showman, Tromp doesn't seem to grok that front pages are everywhere, and that seriously provoking media is like poking a beehive. Gonna get seriously stung, Donny Boy. Or another metaphor: When you're deep in a hole, stop digging.

Except Tromp ONLY knows how to dig. That's what he does, shovel mud around. My fear is that he'll try something flagrantly dictatorial, like sending troops to shut down networks. Even worse: a coup to prevent that.

Tromp announced we're in "the calm before the storm." He didn't specify which shitstorm(s) to expect. Grab your lead umbrellas.

With Trump poking the Fourth Estate and charging up the press, how many of his lies will be front page News for weeks come January?

Poking the Fourth Estate is a real crowd-pleaser. CNN, the Washington Post, and the NYT make Trump look relatively honest by comparison.

Give an example

"Saddam is developing weapon of mass destruction."
"Syria is using chemical weapons against its own citizens."
"Russia invaded Crimea."
"Russian operatives hacked the DNC emails and provided the data to Wikileaks."
...and the latest, "Russia-linked persons used Pokémon Go to direct attention to Black Lives Matter, thereby interfering with the 2016 election" (that one's a real winner from CNN.)

That ought to suffice.

And none of these have anything to do with Donald Trump. Ri-ight?

"Saddam is developing weapon of mass destruction."

That is what Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld kept saying. Even when pressed on the "evidence" they kept repeating the same lies. Not the fault of the press.

"Syria is using chemical weapons against its own citizens."

They did.

"Russia invaded Crimea."

They did. Putin admitted to sending in Russian troops to seize it.

"Russian operatives hacked the DNC emails and provided the data to Wikileaks."

They did. It's why the con artist told them to keep doing it. He and members of his campaign were colluding with Russian operatives to swing the election.

...and the latest, "Russia-linked persons used Pokémon Go to direct attention to Black Lives Matter, thereby interfering with the 2016 election" (that one's a real winner from CNN.)

Especially since it's true. Unless you're calling the maker of Pokemon Go a liar.

http://thehill.com/policy/technology/355189-russian-linked-campaign-used-pokemon-go-to-meddle-in-election

"It's clear from the images shared with us by CNN that our game assets were appropriated and misused in promotions by third parties without our permission," Niantic, the makers of Pokémon Go, said in a statement provided to CNN.
. . .
The account's Facebook page was removed from the site, according to CNN, after it was found to have been linked to the IRA. The Instagram and Twitter account of the campaign have also been suspended, but the group's YouTube channel and website remain active.

That ought to suffice.

Yes, to show you revel in ignorance and stupidity.

Sorry, I forgot I wasn't speaking with a rational person. Carry on.

In comparison, here's three in the last 48 hours off the top of my head from Trump

The US is the highest taxed nation in the world
. FALSE. It is ranked 32nd.

Congrats to the NFL for requiring their players to stand. FALSE. They did not "require" it. Refuted by the head of the NFL himself.

The stock market is up a few trillion so we've got a surplus to pay down our debt. FALSE. The stock market has nothing to do with the national debt.

I don't know about personal income tax rates, but the US has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. http://fortune.com/2014/11/21/the-five-countries-with-the-highest-corporate-tax-rates/

A. the point is that he repeatedly is too dumb or dishonest to correctly identify the tax he's talking about--although it's most likely that he's just lying knowing that easily fooled folks like you choose to believe him without checking it out. He can't help himself from lying and you can't help being a dumb sheep.

B. With the loopholes provided, it makes no difference what the corporate tax rate is. Corporations don't pay that rate.

Partly true, but when you factor in all the loopholes, the average rate is actually only 18% and many pay none.

Besides that is not what Trump SAYS. He says over and over "We are the highest taxed nation in the world."

"The nation" and "we" does not equal "our corporations."

It is true that corp. taxes are calculated on the bottom line. This would be so with the taxes in every nation in the world. That average means nothing, because tax rates for specific years vary from zero to almost 40%.

What was the context of Trump's remark? If he was discussing corp. taxes and said taxes in the US are the highest, he was referring to corp. taxes. Do you have the actual quote?

Indirectly, consumers pay all the expenses incurred by businesses, unless the business goes broke. However, income taxes are a different animal than other expenses. The "bottom line" on an income statement will say something like: "Profit (or loss) before income taxes." Such taxes are a percentage of net profit.

If you can't see the loopholes, you've scrunched your eyes shut.
And what, corporations don't consume? That's a new one on me. Also, SCOTUS has ruled that corporations are persons. Thus a corporation should pay the personal tax rates, say around 35%, with only personal-level deductions.

Apple, Google, Facebook, ExxonMobil, Tromp.Com, Wal-Mart, and chainstores, can deduct mortgage and child care costs, charitable donations, and state and local taxes, from their global income statements. Tax the rest of those corporate persons' take as personal income.

Or stop pretending that a business is a person and that money is speech.

The bogus Only-Consumers-Pay-Taxes trope assumes a firm's only income derives from sales and fees. Wrong. Investment proceeds and interest income should be taxed, same as your gambling winnings and stock dividends.

Also note that prosperous areas tend to have higher taxes than poor areas. National tax cuts will thus drive USA into poverty. Buddy, can you spare a dime?

He was having a private talk to an audience of select CEOs in the Oval Office, in the context of a meeting on "Corporate Tax Rates in America."

I took that out of context to make it seem like he was just speaking about the nation in general to a bunch of yahoos in Pennsylvania.

Oh wait, that's not true.

Trump's claim that US is the highest taxed nation

Here is the claim being refuted by every news organization in the country

* Did HRC campaign actively seek support from a foreign power? Prove it.
does this cover Trump's staff very clear admission they attempted to collude with the Russian government on at least two occasions?

Or are you referring to other things?

First, what is the difference between a loophole and a valid business expense?

Second, what do you mean by "personal level deductions?" Would that include things like COGS and employee salaries and office supplies and other normal business expenses? Interest paid by businesses, either mortgage or other, is also a valid expense, but the cost of a building that a business might buy is normally depreciated over several years, rather than being expensed in the year of the purchase.

A business obviously cannot be a parent, but its employees can and, if child care is provided for the children while mom and/or dad is working there, that is a valid business expense. Charitable contributions and other expenditures which are intended to result in good will are also valid business expenses.

First, what is the difference between a loophole and a valid business expense?

Probably mostly the attitude--whether or not the rightness of being fair as a member of society motivates--of the one using it. Honesty, equity, and taking responsibility versus selfishness and greed.

Or are you referring to other things?
HRC= Hillary Rodham Clinton. I referred to charges that her campaign colluded with, or actively seek support from, a foreign power?

Second, what do you mean by "personal level deductions?"
I mean, if a corporation is legally a 'person' in any way, it must be taxed as one... and held civilly and criminally liable as one. Right. Laws controlling corporations are now mostly written by corporate sharks so don't expect any progressive change.

This would not be possible. A business does not have "dependents" although it does have employees. An individual cannot deduct wages paid to a housecleaner, but a business can deduct the cost of janitorial services. There are many similar examples.

Corporations are civilly and criminally liable for torts they commit, just as individuals are.

If you can't see the loopholes, you've scrunched your eyes shut.

Yet you can't name a single one.....surprise surprise surprise.

They won't pay it, their consumers will.

That would come as news to the accounting firm I work for

Anyone running an accounting firm with a fuckin' clue will confirm this.

Every penny that every corporation pays in taxes, including the accounting firm you work for, comes out of their consumers pockets.

100%, no exceptions.

Those things are not mutually exclusive.

And equity is neither righteous nor realistic, sorry you missed your chance to be part of the Soviet Union.
