This issue comes up a lot, and it pisses off a lot of people. They think that the stories on Lit are under "copyright protection." And in theory, maybe they are. But in reality, if you want to finish somebody else's story, go for it. Nothing bad will happen to you except maybe (maybe!) you will get some nasty comments for being a plagiarist.
