Basically, if you read the opening post, a fundamentalist Christian Deplorable is gloating that he has the inside line on what is going to happen, because he's a true believer. In the past, this same guy has boasted about how he'll be able to sneer "Told ya so" as he is being ushered into heaven. It's no different from Islamic extremists being confident about being greeted with a harem of virgins after they blow up themselves and others with a suicide bomb.

Which brings us to the main point: The Deplorable movement is a suicide cult. They believe the script has already been written by God, and humans are powerless to confront the problems of wars, plagues, and climate change. After all, they have Bible citations to support that wars, plagues, and climate change are verification that the script has already been written. Like, we never had wars, plagues, and climate events before, right? Must be the end times. Arm yourself, accept the Lord as your personal savior, and party on.

Blame all this on the original sin and don't even bother to try to address our problems, especially if doing so interferes with a Deplorable's right to open carry his pistol in his gas guzzler pickup truck on his way to Walmart to get spare lubricant for his Sybian machine.
