Here's the idea.
Happily married woman, who's never even thought about cheating.
Until her daughter brings home her fiancé. Imagine your dream alpha male. Henry Cavill, Jason Mamoa, whoever does it for ya. That's what this young man is like and she becomes quite obsessed with him. To where she starts to dream about him. Both awake and asleep.

Throughout this time, she takes her newly reawakened sex drive and she and her husband start having incredible sex. He is the grateful recipient of her ardor, though he doesn't know why.

So throughout the story, she dreams of fucking this young man, but when she wakes up, her husband is there ready and willing. Both dreams and reality will get equal attention in the story.

So it's either a Mature or Erotic Couplings or a Loving Wives story, I think. I'm leaning towards Loving Wives. Because the story does feature her fucking this young man, but just not in reality. An actual loving wife in the Loving Wives category?

Thoughts?

Is there any conflict other than in her own mind? In that case how is it resolved? Those are things that might make it work well in LW. Otherwise, if it is just a bunch of sex scenes, real and imagined, put it in EC.

Didn’t one of the Popes say cheating in your mind was still cheating. Or was that the misogynists misogynist, St. Paul?

On which case, LW.

I'm not really sure about that just yet. At first just in her own mind, but later ... we'll see.

Or… Incest and Taboo. It’s not incest clearly. But I wrote a FIL / DIL story that did well in I/T, with a focus on Taboo.

It being me, the MIL / SIL had both died in the same car accident.

My point is how you want the story to be received. You are gonna write it your way and spend a bunch of time. Do you want it ridiculed and low scored or get a decent response? LW stories without conflict and a fair resolution generally do not fare well.

It was the big JFC himself. (Mt 5:28)

(Incidentally, Paul was probably not a misogynist. The misogynistic quotations are from letters falsely ascribed to him, or sections that are apparently later additions by others to his genuine letters.)

I'd recommend daring to post it in Loving Wives. It would be a good test case to see how the sharing-hater/monogamous-only crowd reacts, and whether they say the husband is a virtual cuckold.

I'll be interested to see how you resolve her internal conflict by the end.

It’s all been twisted to fit the equally twisted world views of various controlling people.

Em

If you add a twist at the end where the husband lets the wife know that he's knows exactly what's going on, and it's because of the daughter's new boyfriend that his wife has suddenly become so hot for him. But that he doesn't care because they've been enjoying the best sex they've ever had. I think it could go in EC, pr Mature if they both have a laugh over it, while they keep at it.

Sounds like a Mature story to me. You'd get a good response there, I reckon.

I think so too. It might fit slightly better in LW, but I think you'd be met with a kinder bunch of people if put it into the Mature category. Highlight the age difference a little bit extra and it'd be peachy in there!

If it's just fantasy cheating I'd say EC, but Mature would be a good choice, too. I'd personally probably not put it in either LW or IT, if it never goes beyond her fantasizing. It would probably feel like something of a tease in those categories, which are mostly about the naughty sex actually happening.

Yeah, but what I want to know is if the Corinthians ever wrote back?

As for the category, I think the honest answer is Loving Wives, whether she actually fucks the stud or not. She's a wife, and she's loving. Probably not the smart answer, if you want to get a good score, but most true to the category purpose.

I'd probably submit it to EC and let the Board Sachems decide if it needs to go elsewhere.

If you wanted to blur the lines, you could have her accidentally catch them in the act and watch in the dark while she pleases herself. Maybe her daughter sees her and smiles and winks…

Before choosing a category, I think you need to figure out the angle of the story. It sounds like it's still a bit unfocused to me. Is the focus on the fantasy relationship with the fiancee or is the focus on the real world relationship with the wife? I think you should choose one or another as the dominant focus. Once you've done that you can choose a category. If it's on the fantasy relationship then I'd lean Mature, but if it's on the wife relationship perhaps Loving Wives.

It never would I be incest, if that’s what you mean. But it would be taboo.

Yes, I was implying that the act would be taboo, perhaps especially if the guy in question fucked them both in a short time frame. The fantasy of doing so might still be taboo from certain points of view, but simply fantasizing about it is fairly tame by the standards of the category (or erotica/porn in general) was my point.

Yeah, on his efforts. I wonder why people want to write a story just to watch it fail? Just to get a reaction? I could almost tell you the reaction. If the husband had no idea of her fantasies, they won't flame the story. Because the angst of cheating is all in her mind, her emotions, her dreams. If very well written (with or without just a bunch of sex) it would get in the high to mid 3's. If it evoked emotions from the reader, a little higher. If there is a LOGICAL resolution to that conflict, above 4. If she acts on her fantasy and cheats, the whole dynamic changes.

Two excellent suggestions, thanks, everyone, great advice.

The LW hordes may get pissed if there’s no actual adultery.

How detailed are her fantasies? If you have her day dreaming in detail or are going to write some of her explicit dreams, you may get away with mature, and maybe at the end when the daughter and boyfriend are leaving she gives him a hug and a cryptic "Thank you"

If not Erotic couplings.

I'd avoid loving wives because even thinking of another man is cheating and even though she doesn't and takes it out on her husband he'll be "a cuck getting sloppy seconds from his wife cause even thinking of another man is infidelity reeeee"

That may be close to an exact comment you might get there.
