To correct a minor technicality, or another Trump lie, about not knowing what 'indictment' meant:Trump makes series of worrying blunders at weekend rally
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...rump-blunders-campaign-michigan-b2499444.html
- At one point the presidential hopeful reminded voters of the “very important date” of the Michigan state primary – and proceeded to get it wrong.
- Later he admitted that during “my whole life” he had not known what the word “indictment” meant, though he now faces a plethora.
- Mr Trump also appeared to fumble his stance on electric vehicles.
Trumpers, remember to go vote on November 27th.
Translation of BabyBoobs’ lying and gaslighting:
BabyBoobs is scared shitless of this news about Fred Trump having been diagnosed with dementia, and it (dementia) being hereditary.
This news could really break through to independent and undecided voters - just like other Democratic messages, and the truth about the corrupt orange traitor’s criminality are really starting to break through.
BabyBoobs
I can’t find it but it was either John Oliver or the Daily Show that had a bit showing that trump had been sued and or involved in more lawsuits than all the episodes of modern day legal shows from Boston Legal to JAG and Law & Order and all their spinoffs COMBINED.To correct a minor technicality, or another Trump lie, about not knowing what 'indictment' meant:
"From the 1970s until he was elected president in 2016, Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over 4,000 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over 100 business tax disputes.[1] He has also been accused of sexual harassment and sexual assault,[2][3] with one accusation resulting in Trump being held civilly liable.[4]
In 2015, his lawyer Alan Garten called this "a natural part of doing business" in the United States.[5][6] While litigation is indeed common in the real estate industry,[5] Trump has been involved in more legal cases than his fellow magnates Edward J. DeBartolo Jr., Donald Bren, Stephen M. Ross, Sam Zell, and Larry Silverstein combined.[7]
Unless Trump suffered an extreme memory freeze, I'm confident he knew the definition of indictment early on in his life. Afterall, he partnered with his father, Fred, in joint adventures with the same results as above.

It seems the OP’s information about Trump’s father isn’t getting picked by many media outlets. However there is a story about the Lincoln Project bringing Forgetful Fred back from the dead via AI. Game changer!
Lets hope Biden’s campaign advisors follow the OP’s lead and keep the issue of cognitive decline on the front burner. Especially while continuing to do everything possible to minimize the president’s unscripted public appearances.
However either side wants to spin it, the truth is we have a binary political system which is giving us two choices. Whether we like it or not - this is it. Both men are old. Now, of the two AARP members - which is better? It seems the OP’s information about Trump’s father isn’t getting picked by many media outlets. Actually, if you will read a tiny bit of disease explanations and the link I posted you will find that Alzheimer's IS passed down through families. Since Fred Trump was diagnosed with Alzheimer's it's a distinct possibility (not a certainty but a 50% possibility) that Donald inherited the gene for it. So yeah, family medical history does play into it for Donald. We can theorize all day long about why many more voters are concerned with Biden’s fitness for office than Trumps, but it doesn’t change the fact that the president is much more widely perceived by the public as being unfit for office. I don’t think family medical history plays into it for either candidate.
This. And I trust the voters, on election day, to be able to make this distinction as well--and thus am not going to hyperventilate over the Republican/Trumper smear campaigning on this. However either side wants to spin it, the truth is we have a binary political system which is giving us two choices. Whether we like it or not - this is it. Both men are old. Now, of the two AARP members - which is better?
I will argue that one of the 2 will have four years in office where they turned the tide on a disease that was killing thousands by the day and has surrounded himself with a competent administration that has had minimal to few turnovers. That he has passed significant legislation aiding businesses and the public, has economic numbers well in his favor, and on every measure of the things that the opposition themselves complained that he wouldn’t be able to fix (inflation, employment, foreign policy, war in Afghanistan, and immigration) he has done and delivered or put forth bipartisan proposals to get the problems solved. His administration, his leadership, has had no embarrassing scandals that has led to criminal charges to be brought against nor has the opposition, in 3 years of claiming and crying, have been able to provide to the viewing public any substantial amount of evidence indicating misconduct. He stumbles, he stutters, and he sometimes forgets. All true. He has brought back the vital daily press briefings that informs the populace on administration policy and even stands himself before reporters and gives straight forward, cogent answers to many complicated questions knowing that the press will ignore those awaiting a gaffe. That’s my warts and all pitch to you for Biden.

I will now yield the floor to babyboobs or any other trump lackey to tout their candidate with his presidential accomplishments as well as his flaws.
Spoiler Alert: They can’t. And if they try - it will be a gaslighting event attempting to show that the crazy, nail biting existence we lived daily from 2016-2020 didn’t actually occur the way we perceived. Kinda like the BLM and Antifa tourist event that happened on J6
My post asks you to speak on reality. You can’t do that. Your interests and comfort level is to come here and shape the narrative of perception.I was referring to public perception. A majority of voters don’t think Biden is fit for office. I don’t think either candidate’s family history is or will be a factor in changing that perception.
Tout the specific accomplishments of geriatric trump that makes him a better choice over geriatric Biden. I’ll wait.Perhaps if Biden makes more unscripted public appearances he can change public perceptions about his cognitive issues. I doubt it though
The Biden presidency followed Trump‘s, so it should be very easy to show distinctions where things have gotten far worse for the American people.Perhaps if Biden makes more unscripted public appearances he can change public perceptions about his cognitive issues. I doubt it though.

Got it.The thread is about Fred Trump’s Alzheimers and the suggestion that it might (or should) influence voter perceptions about Trump’s fitness for office relative to the wider spread concerns about Biden’s cognitive decline.
Got it.
No chewing gum and tying laces for you - strictly Velcro.
For those who don't think about facts, no it won't. For those who do, it most definitely will, or should. Facts are facts and the fact is that one of Donald's parents had Alzheimer's, which is inheritable. Which should give every pause to consider what could happen. At a minimum, it should make Trump supporters think about who he chooses for a VP candidate because if the disease manifests itself, which it appears it has begun, it would mean the VP taking over for him part way through his term.I was referring to public perception. A majority of voters don’t think Biden is fit for office. I don’t think either candidate’s family history is or will be a factor in changing that perception.
Wrong. Genetics now makes women have mastectomies. I laid out real policy for the reasoning for my backing Biden. There are lots of threads on Trump’s and Biden’s policy differences and records. Ukraine, the border, the economy, Israel and Hamas, EVs, energy, etc. My comments in this one address the subject of this thread which deals with cognitive issues. You are wise to try and change the subject though. Cognitive decline is not a topic that favors Biden.
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/alzheimers-disease/symptoms/
Early Symptoms:
- forget about recent conversations or events
- misplace items
- forget the names of places and objects
- have trouble thinking of the right word
- ask questions repetitively
- show poor judgement or find it harder to make decisions
- become less flexible and more hesitant to try new things
Middle Stage:
- increasing confusion and disorientation – for example, getting lost, or wandering and not knowing what time of day it is
- obsessive, repetitive or impulsive behavior
- delusions (believing things that are untrue) or feeling paranoid and suspicious about carers or family members
- problems with speech or language (aphasia)
- disturbed sleep
- changes in mood, such as frequent mood swings, depression and feeling increasingly anxious, frustrated or agitated
- difficulty performing spatial tasks, such as judging distances
- seeing or hearing things that other people do not (hallucinations)
He's not into later symptoms yet but Trump definitely checks off a lot of items on both early and middle.
