This is a pretty wonderful article I just read, I even cried a few happy tears reading how others have survived and gone on to live their true life.

I could imagine having drawn something like that at that age. I'm not transgender, but in my own way I know what it feels like to grow up trying to pretend to be "normal" or what everyone expects you to be, even when you know that's not who you are inside.
