What does one call a story which is both a sequel and a prequel to an existing work? (I am in the process of writing one for my novel Alison Goes to London, but am not sure how to describe it.)

I am quite fond of "ambiquel". But I'm open to better ideas...

I believe 'circumquel' is the term, although ambiquel sounds good, too. By writing it, you're effectively making the original work an inquel.

All of them - ambiquel, omniquel, circumquel - would be suitable names for pharmaceuticals. As a matter of fact...

...there is a drug for canine persistent itching, Apoquel™.

I wonder if anyone's tried injecting that for covid yet.
