Hello Literotica Community!
I have been a member of the site for over 10 years now, passively for much of that but have been a steady contributor of stories for the last 4.
I have a natural preference towards stories involving foot fetish & foot cuckolding and have been encouraged by the feedback I have received via ratings, comments & direct emails/messages. I have always found the community very supportive.
Whilst all of my stories have been based on one fantasy of mine or another, I was wondering though if there was a particular view on popularity of stories being influenced by the extremeness of the subject matter? As an example, some of my more sensual/perhaps less far fetched stories have been quite popular whilst those with more extreme content (particularly around cuckolding) with perhaps less plausible scenarios tend to be less popular.
I appreciate this is all relative, as a story based on a fantasy is just that, a fantasy. But I wondered would this be the experience of wider authors? That the extremeness/plausibility of the content influences the overall popularity of their stories?
Also, I have made a shift recently away from writing solely from the first person perspective of the protagonist (usually based on myself) and towards including more third person perspectives of wider characters in the story. I wondered if authors here had a particular preference or point of view on first versus third person perspectives in their stories?
