Good afternoon,

For those who know me, I have been called many things. Among them, especially in my circle of friends, I have been called a Know It All. Do I truly know everything? Of course not. However, there was a time when I had a thread on the PG that gave me the chance to prove it.
Since returning to Lit after a long hiatus, I have noticed that IHateClowns is the only one continuing the tradition. I did ask him for his blessing to start back up again and here it is.

Is it possible for your throat to rupture from excessive coughing? I need a good numbing agent. Any recommendations?

Your throat is gonna hurt from excessive coughing just because you are using muscles you normally don't use on a continual basis, especially from excessive...swallowing. Chloroseptic has a pretty good numbing agent as well as some other medicinal products such like. I would also pursue the usual treatments for sore throat such as warm tea with lemon. I would also let your doctor know in case he wants to give you other medical options. :kiss:
