Apparently there's thing big thing about German tourists cycling around New Zealand. They're all used to Europe (which is mostly flat), so they think coming to NZ and doing a cycle tour will be fun. Then when they get here...
Of course, the ones that have done it don't tell the others who are planning to just how much up and down it is!
So whenever people go away for their Christmas holidays, it always involves passing german cyclists on hills!
