Someone did read my profile, picked an interest I had and 3 pm's later wanted to know what I was wearing that night... and if I was ready to play...

AT NO time did I EVER say anything to him that I was ready to screw him or had any interest in doing so.

then he was a jerk, just as much or even more than if he'd come out and said, "wanna cyber?" right off the bat.

I dunno... maybe I shouldn't have said anything. it just seems confusing to me. maybe I should just give up the idea of ever sending anyone a PM because except for a couple of rare exceptions it's starting to look like a lose/lose proposition for me. lol.

I was seriously getting tired of people finding my AIM or Yahoo sn from my Lit profile, friending me, then when they're not able to get a hold of me right away...they forget why my name is on their buddy list.

This is what caused me to take my messenger screennames off my profile here.

Mine will pop up asking me to give someone permission. If I don't recognize the name I decline. . . then in the decline box (yahoo) I put something like:

If you saw my name from Lit. please fill free to say hi on one of the many threads I post on or PM me with a nice hello. Otherwise no one comes into my box without my permission. . .

No one as far as I know has ever done that. Which means they don't want to take the time to either register at lit, or form a nice greeting.

Yeah... I got rid of AIM for that reason and it would screw my computer up. I would talk to someone and then suddenly my connection was gone and I had to reset my modum???

So I use yahoo for lit and my MSN account is ONLY given to people I truely trust. Very few have that account, because there are so very few I give it to.
