Thank You. I am sure that these feelings are shared by most of the women posters here as well. I always find that sharing the things that you would share with a best friend to be the best way to become friends on Lit. When the conversation is as two close friends, the commonality of being on an adult site comes through and then all aspects of that will be brought out in private.What do I like...
Believe it or not a simple... Hi, how are you?
That works wonders in opening a conversation. I like a person to tell me about their day, or to ask me about mine. Perhaps they have spent some time reading some of the threads I post on or I started and they know something about me already. Maybe they have read a story and that's always a good way to open a conversation.
I like to have a chat with someone about normal everyday stuff. I don't need an opening about how much they want to fuck me, nor do I need the Hi, how are you opening and have it followed three PMs later with how horny they are.
I like decency and humor. Honesty and sincerity. I don't think that's too much to ask from a person. I'm into friendship a hell of a lot more than I am into cyber sex or phone sex.

Good evening Tastester. Nice to meet you. You're welcome, though I did start the thread more to relieve some frustration than anything else. I do think it made some men and even some women realize how bad some PMs can be. Also, if anything it has helped to make the PMer realize their PM may just show up here.

Definitely and really the best way to even get started is to post in threads. Granted I'm not online as much as I used to be, but even if a PM is the only way they make contact they can still be decent about it.
I don't think any woman would have a problem if a guy PMs her and they are just respectful and get to know her before they even hint at wanting to fuck her. I really think that if a girl is interested in that, she'll let you know eventually. Most women are worth the wait, and if they aren't interested in anything beyond a friendship then so be it.

If your sig asks ladies to look you up if they are interested in something you offer, then why bother with the ladies that don't get in contact with you? Don't know you? I've gotten the "hey" too... usually I PM "hey" back. It never goes anywhere after that. But I'd rather get a simple "hey" then some of the garbage I have gotten and will probably get in the future.
