I had to go to the store, so I thought I'd be energetic and walk rather than drive, for once. I step outside and think...hmm, not too cold. Well shit! By the time I got three blocks, my nose was froze and I wanted to go home!

I usually wait to declare the start of winter until the first time I slip and fall on that tiny, random piece of ice in a parking lot somewhere, but I'm going to take a big leap now, and state that Winter has officially begun.
