I don't know you anywhere near like the rest of these folks do, being the newbie on the block....but I am considered a good listener by my net friends.

Abandonment

As I have shared
much of what I ask and post on these boards have to do
with my struggle as to weather I will continue in the lifestyle
(which also addresses weather I will try to have any relationship again)

Anyway the other day I was talking to a couple of vanilla freinds
and said something about R abanding me. The female freind said something to the effect that we are adults therefore can not be adandoned or suffer abandonment


IMHO when people make committments to each other
and one of the people walks away without any real explaination or support for the other ... it's abandonment

What are your thoughts?

This is the first time I have wandered onto this particular thread and I must say that i agree whole-heartedly witth your take on abandonment. It seems that I am also going through this though not nearly as clearly as you did, good sir. After 10 years of sub training and learning, I am finally beginning to feel like my owner is not who I thought he was. Disappearances with out explanation are his right. Disappearances, when we share a household, bills due, and life outside of our d/s life is not. Do I understand how you could feel such a way. Most definately...and I will be checking back to see how others respond. Many huggs Sir richard...take care

though there are some "just fun" posts here
most are about he journey I am on

If someone is not there when they have agreed to be
time and time again
weather it be physically present
or to help financially

I teach high school English, Richard....also a basic remediation course called Compensatory Writing/Reading. I am certified to teach history was well, but haven't in years, though I would like to again.
My hubby is a Mennonite pastor. (can you honestly imagine him going much further than we already have with bondage?)

I have a daughter about to get her M.A. in religion and literature, a son in his third year of electronics engineering, and two daughters in junior high.

I got a call this morning from VA saying my disablity claim
has been approved at 100%. If this is true it brings to a close a 11 year battle.

I have told them I will not die till I win this claim.

Much of what I will win when this goes through will be benifits
for my wife/widow and minor children ...... since I have niether....
oh well ..........
