It's an icky day here, too. Not quite warm enough for shorts today, about a 20 degree drop in temperature from two days ago, and it looks like it could rain again. It did last night. We had some thunderstorms, too. No tornadoes yet, though. *phew*

But there is a bright side, even to the nasty weather. The rain allows things to grow. Much better than a bad drought.

As I have shared this thread with the support of a couple of other threads I have started are to help me make some discions. I have made one.........

I have decided to not have a funeral.
I have a plot and vault already paid for
the VA will pay for a cheap coffin (gray)
and enbalming.

Now the next discion
DO I still try to find a relationship ?

I know that I will not be satisifed with a nilla one
and do not know if I want to continue puting out energy
to find someone. I am strongly leaning towards a no.

Richard, what you need to ask is what would make YOU feel better. is it better to have a relationship or not? only you can make that decision. I personally think it is better to have a relationship, someone to share with, to love with, and to give love to. that make me more complete

I would not argue that

It is the time and resourses that go into making that contact
that leads to more investment
to end up with the that relationship

I went into very bad depression last night

Physically I am not doing well today
(I have had worse days)

Sorry to hear that you're not doing physically well... Here's hoping all us around here can help with the emotional health.. And I work at the (deep breath here) "After hours travel agency emergency desk" at an airline.. (nope, not sayin' which one, just sayin' it's one of the few not in bankruptcy panic right now. That could however change without notice..) We also take incoming sales calls off the 1 800 number, because it's so slow at night. Oh, and obscene callers too. We actually have "regulars" when comes to obscene callers.. Theres "Scott, the Panty Man", the "Shoe Lady" and "Mr. Bad Boy".... For some reason, the obscene phone calls usually come after 11pm..

(And now for something completely different! This is my 30th post.. I'm not a Virgin anymore! I'd like to thank the Academy.. Sorry Richard, thread hijack over..)

Ironically enough, a legitamite customer told me that I have the "voice" for phone acting.. He gave the number for the employment at his company. I'm so broke that I might have to start doing that a few days a week to catch up.

I was alone yesterday too. I had Easter tamales for lunch and fried up a mess of fish for dinner. No basket this year but I gave my daughter hers before she left for Detroit. She'll be home Tuesday.

Dennie says he'll be home last week of May... I CAN HARDLY WAIT!

Fish: Halibut...it was good.

Gee, I haven't been smelting in,like, forever. They have to be fresh, that is why I don't buy them at the market.

I want to live on a boat, but I'm getting a little old for that dream anymore...

Yes, it feels right. There is peace. I have no msgivings and neither does he. We know it won't always be a bed of roses, but we're willing to work on what needs to be done. We've both been through bad relationships, and we are known quantities to each other, so....
