I have had it for about a month and really like it. It's kind of neat to be able to listen to just about any type of music you can think of at a moments notice with the push of a button 24/7. I spend alot of time listening to Fred and XMU. I guess my question is who else has it? What are you favorite channels? Do you think it is here to stay? I ask for a few reasons, 1) I am just curious as to what people are listening to, 2) maybe there is a channel you listen to that I haven't and might like, 3) they are offering it as an option on many 2003 model vehicles and I guess I am curious how many cars I should order with this option. I will also ask this, if you don't have it and were considering buying a new car would you spend the extra $295.00 and the $9.95 a month to have it?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I don't have it, but I'm on board with the idea. The idea of a radio that's free-er of payola/playola.

How is reception in tunnels and stuff?

Does anybody know what kind of royalites XM stations pay on music?

I am not sure how they pay royalties. The reception has been perfect except for tunnels as you brought up. I think there is about a 10 second delay built in. If your car or truck is under something longer than that you lose the signal until you clear the overhead obstruction.

That's cool

Can they cuss on XM? :p

They can say anything they want to. The music is unaltered also. If a channel plays music or talk that may be more of a more adult nature they tag it. Just to let parents know what might be on that channel. Just a code that comes up in the corner of the display. It really is cool!
