Writing Goal for the Day?

I was able to add a little bit to each one of the three pieces I'm working on, so it was a good day.

After I go to bed (sometime this morning) and wake up again (later this morning) I believe I can finish up the Review/Essay and hopefully get some feedback from a reader that gave me permission to write her story idea. I can make sure we're both feeling the same on the direction it is flowing. Last but not least, I need to figure out a way to make my twins switch places that seem plausible to the story.

Must learn to remember what I wrote, lol. I wrote two pages of a scene, only to go back to do edits and found I killed the guy off already, oops. Now to replace him with a live character.

Going to try to finish my contest entry today so I can get it edited and hopefully up early in the week.

I also learned last night that I am getting to old to be eating taco bell and drinking Jack and cokes at 11pm.

I went to sleep and dreamed that I took my contest entry and made the characters some type of shape shifters so I could put it in the nonhuman section and have a chance to win.

Not sure which was the bigger stretch, that I would write in non human or that I could win a contest.

Depending on whether I head to the basement to write, or not will determine how much I write. It being Sat. who knows what will happen. I listed my desires earlier before heading to bed early this morning, so maybe they will happen who knows. Weekends are full of people, so it may just be a cross-stitch day.

Well, just submitted my first incest story - way outside my comfort zone, but we'll see how it plays. Submitted it as a Valentine's Day submission - though I'm not sure how strong of a contest submission it is. Guess we'll find out after it posts.

Meanwhile, I'm going to bask in the warmth of meeting goal #1 for this writing year on Literotica - entering a damn contest.

I was able to finish the Review submission, so now I'm going to start my day, which involves grocery shopping. I REALLY do not want to go, but I have to, because I think we may not survive on Tea and bread for too long. We live in America, the land of MEAT.

I'm the opposite, incest is my zone, but I entered the Winter contest under Fetish. MY Valentines will be either mature or Romance not sold yet.

I believe Mature gets more views and votes, but I think I would get a sick thrill out of people seeing my name in the romance category.

Saturday is the day in which I'm kicked out of the house: My wife does laundry and "redoes" the cleaning, since I do NOT do it correctly. My writing goals for the day are twofold:

1. I would like to get ANYTHING written, any length, on one of the multitude of stories I've started or rewrite one of the old stories from years and years ago;

2. Stay away from the GB, it's a nightmare!

I do. It makes for a fun journey. This one isn't going to be a romance either. It's going to be a very dirty, first time, stroke piece. Those are fun to write sometimes.

I agree. I came up with a great little plot bunny for a Lesbian story I have to work on. I don't think anyone's had this angle yet, so it should be interesting.

New angles are fun. Tried and true are too. I'm pretty sure someone out there has written this. It's probably very cliche, but it's my cliche time so I'm okay with it.

Tried and true are a good basis for a story and your style and twist can make it a winner. I like trying to find that certain something to make it unique and fresh.

It is a joy, isn't it. Writing itself brings me a lot of pleasure. I'm about 6100 words in and still have several naughty scenes to write.

This story idea popped into my head a couple days ago and has sat there festering. I had to put the other 2 on the back burner, because I couldn't concentrate on them and do them justice.

So this one has just flowed from my fingers and hasn't quit.

Today I thought I'd go for 1,000 words. (Graham Greene reckoned 500 words was a decent day's work.) I actually ended up with just over 1,500 - which was satisfying. So I reckon I'll go for 1,000 words again tomorrow. Who knows? I might have two good days in a row.

The weather yesterday was too pretty to pass up. Spent the day on the motorcycle riding around the lake and visiting friends.

Today I get to spend the day cleaning up a tree that fell in a wind storm last night.

Maybe tomorrow the writing will have a chance.

After little deliberation, sex won over battles and I'm jotting down the points to expand from.

Before I had to rush my wife to the nail salon Saturday - OMG like she had a serious like chip on her left middle finger and needed it repaired like now - I completed rewriting an old short story and rewriting a naughty tale, bot of which are waiting to be edited.

Today, while I try to dry off from a misty walk from work and wait until I need to get the Spawn to the doctor's appointment his mother made, I'll get some scenes completed, whether or not they make it into larger, longer pieces is up for debate.

I had a good burst of writing last month and am waiting for the editor to get back to me.

I wanted to finish #9 of the Interrupted tale to wrap it up, it's been waiting a year for me to finish, but my current story is pushing the Amazon story into limbo.
