Writing Goal for the Day?

I've got a lot of little things going on all at once. It's fun. Usually I try no more than 2 stories at a time. But I think I'm fluttering through five, giving each a little something every other day or so.

Last night one was really working through the fingers and will most likely take a couple more days to complete, while another is edging toward the finish line.

Now that I'm officially done with school, I'm using homework time for writing. I don't know how well I'll do, but I'm ready to write.

The mainstream novel edit review is out the door, so I can go back to final review on the first Clint Folsom compendium. Another story idea dropped last night, though, so I'll have to resist starting to write on that.

Splitting time between the contest entry which is way out my zone and forcing me to really work, and editing the third chapter of a non lit project.

Start expanding the point notes for my Lesbian story today. Character development is first and then the plot. This is starting to come together nicely.

Working on day two of my "weekend" story and feeling it may become a more deeper tale. We'll see.

Later I hope to move another story along and begin the next installment for the chain story Kismet.

LMAO. Jimmy, there's over 50 characters in my story. I was too focused on the scene, to remember the guy was killed in a previous fight and had to go back and change it to a live one. Maybe I should have a roster for my characters and tick them off as I go if they're alive, dead, or injured.

Might get in a little writing... or I can run up to the store before picking up PennGirl from her pre-school session. Tough choices, and not much writing time left at this point, anyway. Be more time-effective to go to the store, I guess. Hopefully future pre-school sessions will allow some writing time, but today wasn't one of them.

The diagramming sentence is brilliant! I think I'm going to have it tattooed to my ass, so I can show it the next time somebody corrects my grammar.

But it is my birthday, and Mr Penn and the kids gave me many nice DVDs (Kung Fu Panda 2, Marx Brothers, others) and we will go out for dinner (no cooking = nice present). Also think I will pick up a book while out. Next, PennGirl and I will make my birthday cake, which may not get eaten until tomorrow, but we shall see.

Mr Penn is the best -- he got tickets to go see Marillion in June, which I wanted to see but had kind of written off for various reasons. Sigh.
