To keep to the rhythm of a limerick, you would have to alter your last line, since it is a syllable short. Also, the fourth line, you're reliant on the reader pronouncing jewels as two syllables, as opposed to the usual pronunciation rhyming with rules. Perhaps it would work better thus:

The rules are one line at a time
And keep to the rhythm and rhyme
If you follow the rules
I shall not knee your jewels
and won't leave your balls in a grime

(you also had a typo on the last line)
