You look like you like N'Snic...

Should I still love Steely Dan?

Speaking of, am I the only one who thinks that N'Sync song "Pop" sounds like "Wham Rap?"

I Thought It sounded Dangerously close to...

WWrap WWrap-Love II Men:rolleyes:

There are a lot of local radio stations because there are a lot of places.
As Spike Milligan once said, "Everybody has to be somewhere"
If you want to hear only what you are familiar with, play your CD collection.
If you want to hear something new, go see live bands
If you want to die of boredom try MTV!

I only listen to News Radio now. The music has gotten so violent and disturbing that I prefer news of plane and train wrecks, shark bites, raging deseases, rap stars gone bad...

Actually Laurel, everytime I see their "POP" video, it reminds me of the New Jerks (oops sorry....KIDS) On The Block. I'm just looking forward to the day when these boy bands become washed up like the ones of the 90's.

Why are there 250 cable channels?

Because as a society, we suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder. We are also adrenaline junkies (as long as the danger and thrills happen to others and we can watch fat, happy and safe on our couches). And we consume too many twinkies...

OMG....I'M TOO YOUNG TO BE OLD

I can remember working at my dad's auto repair shop when I was young. Every day and every night, we would be driving along in his 1963 Chevy BelAir and listening to radio talk shows. How boring that was to listen to.
But damn it, here I am, 25 years later and doing the same thing.
I listen to Howard Stern in the morning.
Tom Lykis in the evening.
And the John & Jeff Show at work at night, on the way home, and when I go to sleep.
<loading the gun to shoot myself and end this misery & boredom>
Damn it, I missed.

I have turned into a news radio junkie, supplemented by the net. Our local talk sucks excpet for Tom Bekka who comes on before Rush. Most days I turn Rush off if the opening monologue sucks tits. Like when he goes on about golf or who he blows...

We have one station that has stand up comedian and sitcom star, Steve Harvey, as a DJ. And if that's not enough, Motown legend, Smokey Robinson, is a radio DJ of another startion. I often listen to the station that hired Smokey Robinson but I never listen to it when Smokey's on the air. He's boring and often talks alot about his days in Motown.

You probably have choices...

I have a 100 foot tower to get the Kansas City radio and 2 and 1/2 television stations, only one in a city (not Kansas City, but Joplin)!

On a wierd weather day, we do get television from Oklahoma City.
