You find fault in others but not in yourself, why did you start this thread? Was it to make WriterDom look stupid, was it to get us all to hate WriterDom, you've done this before to others, then complain that there is so much hate on the Board.

Leave it to the two that are involved and don't worry yourself about it. Find something else that interests you and go post there, just stop all the picking of other members already. If it bothered Shadowsource so much I'm sure he would bring it to WriterDom's attention, why do you feel the need to point it out?

Thank you very much, Siren, for defending me from WriterDom's verbosity. But I must hasten to apologize to you by explaining that, however crude his comment, it was clearly provoked by MY having called him WriterDung in a moment of exasperation after he posted the same "Condit-Clinton" thing twice on a thread. His reposte wasn't very original (nya nya), but it certainly was in keeping with my own trash talk. I guess I hope he'll go back to using my proper name eventually. But hell, I haven't even been trolled here yet. I've been treated well.

Whoever said we were both idiots was partly correct (ha! which part?) except that they said I always have to be right, which isn't entirely true. My view of humanity tends to be so bleak that I am very often pleased to be proven wrong. I see no point in making Myst pissy, though I suspect she didn't like my sexual dialogue on her string. My statements were made respectfully, and she was perfectly polite about it at the time.

I don't mind WriterDom, though I don't think we'd make great friends. He's said some things I found funny, and I know very well that I'd find this board a lot less interesting if there weren't some deeply convinced righties here to argue with. I've come to like and enjoy Todd and Miles, in fact. Which doesn't mean I won't want to complete their lobotomies soon enough when some distant moron coughs up some Wildcat Wisdom.

Of all the things I've ever blathered about at Lit, my total lack of respect for the art and craft of Kevin Smith, whom I've met many times (had to see CLERKS many times before it was released) is probably my most passionate conviction. He's a nice guy, but he's had all the opportunities to learn how to make films, and he doesn't even know why he should bother. I despise him. So flame away, folks: I asked for it twice.

I think it is a little unusual though that Siren does it so frequently since I remember her talking about being a card carrying member of the ACLU. They tend to defend ANYONE, no matter what the topic is. Doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative, ACLU will defend you without judgment as to your beliefs being right or wrong.
