I was checking out some amateur pics on another website today. They were of a lady calling herself "English Wife". Very attractive lady, nice curves, tone body.

But...

After admiring the pictures i thought to myself "she needs a tan". She was milky white although she had a nice complexion.

why did i think that? Who says that a tanned person looks better than a smooth complexion, milky white one? She looked great but i think living on the jersey shore has conditioned me to thinking having a tan makes a person look better.

What else are we conditioned to believe?
That a lady has to be a size two to look good?
That you breast have to be a certain size?
that your age matters?

What things have you been programmed to think? You might not even realize that you are. I know i didnt at first.

I have seen her and

I know what you mean. Could it be that we image seeing this person in some tropical setting >? I don't know. But she is very fine!

I believe a person looks better with a tan also.
As for the rest of the questions, While the average woman in the US is a size 12, the media tries to 'program' us into thinking the models are the ideal body type. Unfortunately alot of women fall victim to trying to achieve this so -called perfect body.

I always heard that as far as breasts were concerned, More than a mouthful is too much, although I don't believe that at all!

I believe in some situations age does matter.

Oh, I disagree completely. I think her skin looks beautiful. To me, a tan looks unhealthy. Don't you notice what women who tan a lot look like at 40? *shivers* It absolutely ruins your skin.

Why does tan=look better?

I think its because we are told it does. Also a person who has a tan is in a nice place. Its sunny, they have time to relax and lay there and we liken this good qualities to the tan.

I have to admit that I too like a tan on a white lady. But its funny why i think that way. I've also noticed that i put looking good and being healthy in the same basket. So having a tan doesnt make you healthier so it doesnt really make you look better. But thats just my opinion.

Oh yes. I do like her - N. European girls don't have much choice unless they go and tan themselves under lights plus their 3 weeks on the Med. It's faded by Christmas unless they work at the sun-beds.
That woman looks lovely to me.

To me, it doesn't really matter. When I see pale skin, I think delicate. When I see tan skin I think outdoorsy, rugged.

I think it's just what you're accustomed to, here in Ohio it goes about half and half. Most of us are pasty in the winter, tanned in the summer.

That lady would have a nice body even if her skin was tinted green with purple dots all over her. :)

While you may like trhe looks of a young, tanned body, the woman in those pictures is a redhead. Most redheads are very susceptable to sunburn. And, are you aware of what damage sun can do to your skin? If a person with the fair skin of that model were to try and keep themself tanned, by the time she was 30 her skin would look like old leather, if she hadn't died of skin cancer.

She looks to be a natural readhead, so I'm guessing that no matter how much sun she gets, her skin will not tan in the way you mean.

I'm so sick of the media trying to tell us what we should look like...FUCK EM"!

She is a hottie!

Well I can not help but have a year round tan - my skin color is naturally a brown color - I love the color of my skin , my man tells me I am a buttery pecan brown ... * shy smile*

But as for others - I have to admit I have a thing for skin color. I am mesmorized by the various shades of color that exsist with each & every person.

But there is nothing wrong with a white complexion .... the woman seen in those pictures has lovely skin.

We each have our own likes & dislikes..

I for one have NEVER understood these preferences.

I've always prefered brunettes and redheads, ohh especially a nice dark auburn, to blondes.

I've seen women size 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, etc...that are VERY attractive to me, and if I had to pick a perfect body type it'd definately be in those double digits. Remember, it isn't a myth that Marilyn was a 12. I'm a fan of curvy women. I just don't get what is so attractive about those supermodels that have the bodies of tall 14 year old boys.

As for skin tone, fair, alabaster skin all the say. Especially with that nice auburn hair...but this is a HUGE personal preferance. I can easily look at and appreciate any skin tone. Wiggles has it right, any skin on a beautiful woman = a beautiful woman. I guess NO skin would be a turn off though. ;)

I guess the only 'stereotype' I fall into is I do like blue eyes, or green...I guess what I really mean is...hehe.

Anyhow I for one am a superfan of the female form. Bring it on, in all it's glory. Now if only women would get over their hangups advertising has imbedded in their heads. Sometimes I get so angry when you tell a women she's beautiful and they honestly don't believe you. ARRRRGGGGGhh...then again I guess I am sensative about my height,5'7", so I shuld understand.

I agree with Ruby. I thought that woman had glorious skin. I'd like to see what a rosy handprint looks like across her lush bottom or her creamy breasts.

Red, yellow, black and white - I like them all and every shade inbetween.

Interesting thought. I can't say that I'm too picky, myself. That's just me, though... there's something actually a bit more appealing to NOT having a tan. Maybe it's because I'm also pasty white. Heh.

I think that woman is just beautiful.. she's got delicious curves, and I have a thing for milky skin.. to begin with, I have a feeling that woman will not get skin cancer. Other than health, though, I think it shoes a little bit of aristocracy, that she doesn't get outside and get tanned, and it shows a delicacy, like fine china... ohhh.. she's beautiful.
Like her, I have very white skin, most of the year.. I've never had a tan, only a sunburn, and so I prefer to stay inside in the summer, and avoid the painful red skin.

I've always wanted curly hair and china doll, creamy white skin. I guess it's all about perception.
