Yes I am old. Yes I am fat. Yes I am going bald. My body still works without "The Little Blue Pill". Why does it suck so much being married for over 30 years, and doing wi?

Parts wear out as I found out. Never thought it would happen to me

You make what you could of life. Yes getting old sucks.
All the abuse I put my body through physically, catches up. Your heredity DNA starts to appear. Being fat and complaining about your 30 year marriage well...thats on you.
I can't do the things ive done when I was young, it takes me a bit longer to re coup from more things. Going into old age and just complaining about everything just make you am old man. Making the best of things and not giving up. Makes you a guy that is older. Yes there is a difference

Tell me about it, hell it's like nobody warned us and then BAM! It's so much i used to do that I can't now. But I still have my fun and excitement. 12 days ago I joined the 70's club

8th angioplasty, cardiac arrest, defibrillation failed, 50 minutes CPR, 7 hour surgery for a five way bypass. Prognosis 50% chance to live for three days. If survive, 90% chance permanent brain damage.

That was 28 years ago.

Ironically lived long enough to develop cancer 10 years ago.

Death sucks, life is okay at 78.

How old are you?
Being old beats being dead.
At almost 72, I’ve got aches and pains…osteoarthritis in the back…but I’m in better shape than some friends. Yes, I take bp and cholesterol meds plus stuff for the back. But I stay active…ride a bike a few times a week. No, I don’t need a little blue pill but it doesn’t work as well as it did 10 years ago…but still works!
What you make of your life is on you. You can’t change your age but sitting around complaining about it makes it worse.

And what he said. 👆

Some of us are doomed by our genetics, but I'm fighting like hell. No point in going quietly.

Glad you are still able to live okay. Also beats being old and sick(where death is "just around the corner", where death might be an improvement).

Yea it can but try and keep positive. I have the aches and pains. I'm very ative and that helps. Eat well and exercise and still sore with body pain. But get up every day and try to keep the old man out...

My knees and ankles hurt from too much sports and dancing in my youth. I get gray hair and some wrinkles. Menopause is not bad, but has some not-so-nice aspects.

Two of my childen are in or near to puberty.

On the other hand, concerning sex, my husband and I are now very open, and it is not so often as in my youth but much more intense.

And the oldest son is now beyond puberty ...

Haven’t been to a doctor in over twenty years and feeling great. I eat real food I’m on no pharmaceuticals exercise regularly lots of sun and sex. My cock is as hard as it’s ever been. I’ve never eaten a viagra or any of the others. Your life is yours to command. What’s your recipe to health or disaster?

I used to feel very bad for my grandpa when I was young.
He lost almost everyone he cared about by the time I was 35... Parents, wife, an adult child...

Now I'm 52, and have lost my only sister, my grandfather, and my spouse...

I do believe being over, like...80 and over is a true privilege...

Old has two components: actual age and what can you do. Of course there is a wide range of opinion on what constitutes being old. Up until, say, 55, one may be aging, but not old. Upper 50s to upper 60s: getting older. upper 60s to upper 70s: more noticeable aging. upper 70s to mid 80s: serious aging. over mid 80s: life slows down a lot.

As far as capabilities, they overlap the chronological aging process. We are all different. Hard to predict how one will fall on the aging curve. Who doesn'r know someone in their 80s who appears and acts like someone in their 60s? And vice versa.

I agree it does beat being dead, but oh the things you used to could do but can't anymore. And the aches and pains just are not any fun

The issue is that science has allowed us to live much longer than body was designed to live.

Good for you! I would only caution against the sun. But long sleeves and a classy fedora or Panama with a three-inch brim help.
