I don't follow the wildlife issues much, but I have heard wild hogs are very dangerous, don't go down easy and entire groups of them will rampage through farm land/crops if they're not stopped.

We had 6 adults and 4 babies and in one night they shredded 150feet by 40 feet of my yard. It looked like somebody went in there with a plow and just tore my yard up. Across the street they were harassing and going after my neighbors chickens. They killed 2 adult hogs and the rest apparently decided to move on.
