why do you look at other men/women if you're on a date or with your S.O.

I'd mention something if I saw a Monet I particularly liked too.

I've never understood what the problem was. I like to look at attractive women, that's not going to change no matter whom I'm with. It's not like I'm planning to ditch my date in order to run down the other gal and tear her clothing off.

exactly ... actually having a same sex partner is kinda cool that way because you can look together :)

My wife has no problem with my looking at other women when I'm with her. She knows I'm going home with her.

It could also be due to the fact that we used to swing..

It's not that it's a problem, well, I guess for some it is, but I was just wondering why people did it, or what they were thinking when they were looking.

Sometimes it's as simple as the following:

1) Wow she's hot!
2) She looks great in that dress.
3) I wonder if the size of her nipples are proportionate to her breasts
4) Does she shave her pussy or does she have a forest down there
5) I wonder what she would look like bent over in front of me
6) Why do I feel like I may have slept with her on a drunken evening?

Etc. etc. etc.

No reflection on who you're with, just admiring and speculating.

I've rarely looked at another man while out with someone, but I do look at other women and call the male's attention to her. Like she's very pretty, or wow look at her fantastic body, or what a cute outfit.

It doesn't bother me if he takes a peek, so long as he shares his visual find with me. :)

I'm thinking,

"see that's the perfect ass"

"damn, those are great tits, but that shirt doesnt' do them justice"

"I'd kill for those boots, okay, those legs to put in those boots"

"That guy has something about him that is attractive"

"Hey! are you looking at me?"

*laughing*

I do that too. It always surprises the men *shrugs*

It's not that I'm thinking "Boy, I'd like to fuck her!!"Ok, maybe sometimes...

I just tend to like looking at attractive women. And when my wife sees a guy that's drop dead gorgeous, she tends to get really squirmy...

there's a difference between looking and drooling, between looking and getting aroused to the point of ignoring your partner.

That's when it is rude. "looking" is not rude.

Salivating, and eyefucking the other person when you're supposed to be talking to your SO about her dying mother is rude.

Time and a place for everything.

Of course, knowing me an arguement would start.

"Look at her, isn't she cute?"
"Ahh.."
"I like her calves."
"Calves?"
"She's got a nice ass too."
"Not really."
"Yes, she does. Look at the way it fills out her dress."
"It's okay."
"What do you mean, 'It's okay.'?"
"It's not BAD."
"She's got a nice ass."
"I didn't say she doesn't have a nice ass."
"Yes, you did. I know what you said."
"She's got an okay ass, I'm just not drooling over it like you are."
"I'm not drooling over it, I'm calling it to your attention!"

And.. so on.

I enjoy looking at women, especially women who dress to be looked at. I am respectful of my wife and make sure I am discreet in my appreciation of the female sex.

No wonder you have a gun.

For the record, I share my comments with my gf. She knows how much I love her and doesn't see it as any sort of challenge or slight against her. We both look and discuss the woman in question and her attributes. It has actually made us closer.

lol well that happens to us too ... i don't think just because you're girlfriends you have the same taste in women

While I agree that it's fun to check out sexy babes together with a lover, if it's at the beginning of the courtship, and I don't have his full attention, either I'm doing something wrong, or there's no connection there.

I admire attractive men and women all the time. I even point them out to whoever I'm with.

I look because

most of the time I am saying a thankful prayer I do not have to go home with any of them.
