First it has never been proven the bill was counterfeit. The situation escalated, resulting in his death, to the best of my knowledge, the bill went missing.
Second, it has not been proven that Floyd was knowingly passing counterfeit bills.

Be kind of funny if you acquired a counterfeit $20 bill. Then unwittingly tried to make a purchase using it, got caught, and had a knee on your neck eh?

Sadly a great deal of what is published in today's newspapers as news is better suited to the editorial pages as well. Then there is, as Engelman has pointed out, the non-reporting of real news content that readers/viewers should be made aware of.

Years ago I read an article in The New York Times that said that most liberals do not want to be told anything bad about blacks or homosexuals. It can be said that most liberal journalists do not want to report anything bad about them either.

We saw this during the George Floyd riots when the mainstream media told us about “mainly peaceful protests against racial injustice.” We were rarely told that the riots cost at least two billion dollars in damage,

The official story was that George Floyd had been a saintly victim all his life of irrational color prejudice.

This is typical of the mainstream media. It is not typical of the image most whites have of blacks who have seen blacks up close on terms of approximate equality in environments where blacks are in the majority.

Whites who have learned to distrust what the mainstream media tells them about blacks are prone to distrust what it tells them about COVID-19 and global warming.

Efforts to close the race gap in academic performance, like Head Start and No Child Left Behind, have been expensive failures.

We have covered your “intelligence” data that is skewed from inception. Crime data fluctuates all the time and what is illegitimacy? That seems to be a catch all thing that would need specifics to be discussed.

Please do share the failing of Head start, aside from money. Head start wasn't just a racial program, it was there to close the economic gaps seen in early childhood education.

And no child left behind, the failing there was what? Trying to ensure a set of standards for all schools so kids who move (and it is more common now than ever) wouldn’t be losing a gap year or a redshirt year while things line up from one school to another. I guess you never moved from one state to another. I did, was a rough year.
