Why Are You Like This?

My first husband to-be asked me when we met, how did I become the person I am. It took at least 2h to answer. And then I asked him back the same, again taking lots of time to hear the answer.

And we write just 17 then... Lots have happened since, and I'm not the same person anymore.

Now I knows something crucial I didn't knowing then, though: I wasn't even born normal. No wonder I mostly felt different since going to school.

To answer the question "Why am I like this?"
The only thing I can say is...
Everyday of my life has made me who I am.

Because the divine wanted me to be anathema to all womankind??

Hope dies. Good things die all the time. Stephen King is a fiction writer. 🖕🏻😂
Point taken @StillRain I meant no offense. At a low point in my life, a very special person quoted that to me and offered me a hand up. It was the first step of a hard fought healing process. My only intent was to try to pass on what my friend gave to me. I’ll stay in my lane, but I sincerely wish the best for you.
