who likes dyed hair?

who finds people with hair colored bright, unnatural colors attractive? i've been dying my hair for over a year. its currently purple and i love it but a close male friend of mine hates it. i know its just a personal preference but i wanted to know who at lit finds this sexy..i know i do.

Artificial colors, not...but on guys I'm partial to the dyed blonde and semi-grown out highlighted look. But purple, etc? Not for me.

Natural color means little. If I like the girl her hair could be purple with yellow pinstripes and aqua polka dots and it wouldn't matter Maybe being a fan of anime, my brain is just used to having green and blue haired femmes as an everyday occurance, heh heh

that's what i hate about dying i have to do it so often..i use a color protecting shampoo and conditioner that you can buy at sally's beauty supply its the best i've tried. i use manic panic dye, great bright colors & you can mix them to customize...i sound like damn advertisement hehe

Sabbathstorm, my younger sister dyes her hair a lot, but save for just redoing it every so often, she has no real method of regular maintenance. Sorry for not being more helpful, but I realize the question wasn't really directed at me in the first place. I hope you find a solution, but I'm sure it looks great when at its hueful peak

I've been getting it done professionally but it seems like I have to get it touched up every 3-4 weeks. I don't mind the fade out color since it turns almost copper. They use Vereo (sp?) on it in Crimson. I'd really love to try the Manic Panic but I'm terrified of lightening my own hair. I expect it to all fall out lol

It's good to see that I'm not the only one with the problem. I thought it might have been an issue with how dark my hair was to begin with. It does look wonderful when it's first done. I'm working on getting a picture up of that!

well you're lucky i wish i could wait 3-4 weeks...i can but it starts fading out and with blue it turned aqua green & purple turns a lavender-brown...sometimes its interesting to see what comes out
about lightening your hair sabbath..its no big deal, been doing it for over a year, just take it slow dont try & go platinum all at once and CONDITIONER is your bestest friend

I see nothing WRONG with blue (or purple or any color) hair - what I think about a person that does it is that they are adventurous, they like attention and they enjoy messing with their hair.

I never dyed mine funky colors, but boy, it used to be BIG, I mean up to HERE (does that date me? ). Now it's just long and (dyed) brown, though my natural color is brown w/ ummm, shiny individual highlights. :wink:

I've bleached my hair once and put blue and purple strips in it. I won't do it again just cause' I'm a low maintenance person (lazy).

I like seeing it on other people though. It's not something I would add in to the attractive factor, more just a extension of their personality.

yeah i use mp its the best i've tried so far...why cant you dye your hair?
it is midnight blue in that pic..i just changed the color to ultra violet hopefully i can get a pic soon
