being home on a saturday nite alone? Husband still out of town on a job project that REFUSES to end and I have had it. So tell me what is worse and maybe I will feel better? At the very least the resulting pity party should be an improvement.

A saturday night alone...watching your hopes and dreams for a season...your best chance in almost a decade...go up in smoke in the first 5 minutes of game and realizing there is nothing you can do to change the trajectory of your team, your program and knowing you are sentenced to more of the same for the forseeable future. (That was a very guy answer)

I agree with TxBookGirl...call up some friends and go out...just because he is not there doesn't mean you can't go out every once and a while...

Papa you and TxBookGirl were very right. I read her advice and got over feeling sorry for myself, made a few calls and got two friends together for an impromptu sat dinner date. We had so much fun and I wonder why I allow myself to slip into self pity sometimes.
