There seems to be a lot of line crossing going on...

Bratcat and priests.
Willy and the unregistered trolls.
Outsider and killing cats.
Dixon and baby pictures.

There's more I think but I don't remember... so what's the one thing you can't let go?

Sorry, I can't limit myself to just one thing.

I can't tolerate liars, thieves, or people who enjoy putting other people down.

Mensa

Are you making fun of people who are laxtose intolerant? That's not funny. You should be ashamed of yourself.

;)

Not just cat's but cruelty to any kind of animal, I'm not veggy and I don't oppose animal testing form medical reasons but I hate hate hate un-needed suffering to animal's

But if you really want to fuck me off then just get some toast crumbs in the butter and I'll kill your ass :D

Oh and no bloody butter in the jam either

One thing?!

People smacking their food when they eat
Again, dishonesty
Unecessary pain (emotional or physical)

I don't like people who get off on putting other people down, or making fun of them for their own stupid pleasure. I can't stand people who act one way to you on here and another way to you off of here.. I could care less if you like me, I'm not here for your approval, but don't be two faced about it. And like outsider, I detest people who are cruel to animals..

I also dislike people using a mobile phone while driving, I think it should be made an offence, especialy when you can get hands free kits for not a lot of money.

This is a niggle that I have.

A "niggle" is a small thing that annoys you, it's not big enough to really upset you but it does get on your nerves when you notice it.

An engineer would say something like "we've got to iron out the niggles" what this mean's is we have to work on this thing to get rid of the last few problems.

hope that clears it up for you btw I thought it was a common word in the USA to, well it won't be the first time I got it wrong.

I can tolerarte nearly everything....

Except.......

Evil intent.
Blatant stupidity.
Intentional infliction of pain.
Vindictive acts or rage.
Jealousy.
Blind and wanton ingnorance.
Greed.
Egotistical, selfish rants.
Satan.
Lost love.

Just to name a few.

There is nothing worse than a.....

hypocrite. Having said that, I hate a liar almost as much.

blue

p.s. to Boxstar-- You probably haven't had anyreally good Chinese food, prepared Hong Kong style, like stuffed duck feet, pork stomach with hot sauce and veggies or sauteed eel. Yum!

The only form that is "common" in the US is "niggling little details" Int he context of your example, US idiom uses "bugs" in place of niggles, or for some engineers, "Gremlins."

that term get used here to :)

I cant tolerate...........

:p

Okay I am at the 'J's now...........

:p

If only limited to one thing:

The biggie for me would be liars/deceivers.

Of this group, the ones who lie by telling the truth, but not the whole truth....those are the truly despicable creatures.

OUTSIDER: Niggle?? As an engineer and programmer I find that an appealing term. Might adopt it for my personal/professional use.

Like Weird Harold said, Bugs and Gremlins occur with great frequency in the US. My code tends to also have, ahem, 'kinks' that need to get worked out.

Of course, niggle is awful close to the word nibble which has its own special meaning to a software person and thus its usage could be misunderstood - that would really byte.
