I'm new to CHYOO, but I've been active the the SRP board of Literotica for a few months and know how that works. How is this place different than that, aside from the better looking layouts?
And what does CHYOO stand for?

CHYOO = CHoose YOur Own adventure.

I guess the major difference is that the stories here branch. At the end of a page you pose a question, such as "what happens next?". Four different writers can come up with four completely different ideas for what happens next, so from one starting idea a whole series of totally different stories can progress.

Also the writer that begins a story acts as editor for that story, all threads submitted go to him/her first for approval and he/she can edit or outright reject any addition to the story which they are not happy with.

Good question...I was going to ask the same thing!

The answer clears everything up.

Seems like a small little community over here...unlike the Lit boards...that's like a metropolis compared to this. I like the feel here. I may need to visit regularly.

Write some stuff

The key to having fun on Chyoo is to write. Contribute to the stories and you will find one that grabs a hold of you and it is easy to reel off five or six threads. Then you are hooked for life.

Have Fun
