Just wanted to share with you all that Don Mallord, who was a regular poster here on the Politics Forum as well as a writer who posted stories on Literotica regularly, passed away a couple of days ago.

Don and I chatted offline regularly on a lot of different subjects and in his last months, he spent what energy had had on writing and reading - he was enjoying reading some of my works in progress up until a couple of weeks ago, and making me laugh with some of his commets and feedback - and enjoyment. Don spent the last two years in a hospice and passed away peacefully with people he knew at his side. There won't be a memorial service but Don will receive a military honors burial as a combat veteran. Personally, I'll miss him a lot - he was a lovely guy who meant a lot ot me personally as a friend, even tho we never met in person,

I know he enjoyed posting here on the politics board and, over the last few months, reading the different discussion threads and topics even when he didn't have the energy to post much himself, so I just wanted to share that with you all.

RIP Donovan Mallord.

Darn. Another one of the good guys who didn't get to see America recover from Trump's destruction.

May Don Mallord rest in peace.....
ChloeTzang, I enjoyed his posts as well.... I'm sorry for the loss of your friend....... Becky..

Thank you for the update.
Very sad news, I always enjoyed his posts on here. Intelligent, thoughtful, frequently very funny and unwaveringly polite.
He came across as 'a gentleman' in the truest meaning of the word.

His final post. Feisty to the end. May his memory be a blessing.

Trump's hospital records are not available after the shooting. He went home with a bandaide on his ear after 15 minutes at the hospital. He played golf the next day. The day after at a rally everybody had bandages in his honor. Four days later closeups of his ear without the bandages show no sign of injury at all.

That said, someone died there and his life didn't get any of the fanfare and his family grieved while Trump basked in glory oveer getting 'shot' and nearly died from being jumped on my his guards. That's a fact you can take to the bank.

I was consistently amazed by the quality of DM’s posts despite his self-confirmed serious health issues.

He knew he didn’t have much time left, and yet he devoted a fair amount of that time to opposing fascism (Trump & MAGA).

DM was a veteran, a patriot, and a hero to the end.

👍

Rest in peace Don, we will forever be indebted to you for your selfless service for our country.

I remember Dmallord. He always seemed like a class act all around. Definitely one of the good guys, and an example that I wish we could all follow. This is sad news.
