What's something you've always wanted to ask the opposite gender?

He’s pretty worth it. And you haven’t seen me naked. You might not think so.

I see you’re new. Welcome to Lit.

He's seen you, and believe me, he's appreciative. Of course, if you'd like me to give you a personal judgment, I'm here for that, too.

Thank you, fara. You're sweet.

Nah. Not when your girlfriends care about you. I have never had a girl friend get in my way and vice versa. We promote it actually. But if she says no, don't keep trying. That can end up with another woman getting involved

IG's comment matches my experience. I have seen men Ignore the intended woman's rejection to the point that another woman, or other women in the group basically told the guy off. Then I have seen the guy move on to another woman in the group...Like Dude WTF!?!?!

I think Tink was being supportive of you, rather than critical, by saying not to ask for forgiveness in your words. Stand by them. They are yours, and really, they are all we have here.

^this

Group cattiness. It’s going on right now at work. There’s a group of women, I get along with them just fine, but a new woman joined our group recently. She’s nice, but rather socially awkward. They treat her like crap. Just nasty.

I don’t get it. I like these women, work with them, they’re nice solo and in a group, but it’s fucking mean girls from school.

What gives?
You don’t necessarily know the reasons why unless you ask them.
Some women make sure men, especially in business never see a certain side of them.
It could be that simple... you might be missing something.
Or they’re being bitchy. Ask.
Either way it may solve it to bring it up with the women you know

I know girls that do this and I'm just not one of them. I hate the purposeful exclusion of anyone just because they may be awkward. Hell, we are all awkward at first and it takes time to find our place.
There are definitely people, girls and guys alike, that can get under my skin but I try my best to be polite especially at work. There are very few behaviors that I just can't ignore
Now, girls, like all people, like to feel safe and secure in the social order. Some do this by protecting their pack by pushing out outsiders and some do this by uniting.
All that being said, if she is socially awkward that's one thing. Everyone should be treated with respect but if she doing something that puts everyone on edge that cant be disregarded.
People have the right to be friends with whoever they want but being respectful is key. This is why I'm weird about making friends at work. Ain't nobody got time for this.
I am friendly with people I work with I don’t make friends with coworkers

daughter's dealing with this in high school now, and a friend's daughter's dealing with it in middle school. it starts early. i surmise that this is some sort of evolutionary competition/sorting thing that guys do in a different manner and we just never realize it.
That seems about right for the ages. God I hated middle school
The worst is jr. high.
It’s a pecking order.
I remember being miserable. I had boobs at an early age, and I was the butt of a lot of the girl jokes until they all filled out.
Samesies

It isn’t a matter of cockblocking.

Glad you're sticking around, BCC. I think this thread is very open and honest. I'd like it to stay that way!

I'm enjoying the ride!

So my next question. I work in an office building. There are lots of women, age range early twenties to early sixties. I have observed that in the work environment the trend is to dress based on cues they give each other. This summer it was mini-skirts and flat sandals. (I like a short skirt as much as the next guy, but some people were verging on club wear.).The fall has been dominated by leggings and heels. Do you think that in a situation like this, women dress for each other? Lol
I think women dress nice tongo out with friends.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen them mimic each other’s wardrobe after adulthood
I have never dressed for the people i work with.

I dress for the position, the environment, and my own sense of style.
Agreed
I don’t know. Insecurity? Fitting in?
We don’t go out and try to pick up guys. We’re all about being silly, catching up and the food.
Exactly
I hope you didn't take offense to my question. If so, I apologize.
I was mostly curious why you don't dress up for your boyfriend.
She never said she didn’t?
Well, I’m mostly naked.

If we go out I do.
I've have not dressed a specific way because of a cue given by another woman since high school. That being said, fashion and what is sold in stores is based on the current trends, so there's bound to be some similarities. As an adult, I have never been in an environment - college, work, church, social settings - where I thought all the women dressed the same.
That’s been my experience too

So far, none of my girls have had to deal much with the cattiness.

They tend to have just one close girlfriend, and a bunch of casual guy friends. Which is pretty much what i did.

Do you prefer a WYSIWYG man, or a Grower?

In other words a man who stays the same length/width whether soft or hard, or a man who starts out soft and small but grows as he gets aroused?

I dress for me in officewear. Not everyone can pull off a miniskirt at work. In some professions, that may be against policy or code of conduct. I used to wear sneakers but as I saw the subtle reactions of the public towards me, that changed. I worked in a form of customer service within a hospital setting. Because I strut in heels, walk with my back straight and head up, it attracted attention. I'm a bit curvy too, so I had to be careful in my attire.

I think I've only been with growers but I like it! Almost like a magic trick! And feeling him grow and harden in my hand or mouth... mhmm. I am a fan!

I am a fan too. You are my favorite kind of magician, much sexier than David Copperfield.

Well, that gives some reassurance to us growers...

Along the same lines, is there a preference to ball size? Or is that essentially irrelevant to most?

Um... I dont have a preference. There have been some danglers that have been... intimidating?? I was also with a guy who only had one and that was kinda nice. Symmetrical, ya know? :D

Sometimes women literally want to hang with her girls. I have tried many times to dance and talk to women in big groups and it's a waste of time. I go with 2 or 3 women, buy them all a drink while I am talking that smooth and funny bs

Women obviously go out with their girls to have fun, not because they are on the prowl. That said, we are all supportive of each other and each other's personal lives. And as women, who are not dead from the neck up and certainly not dead from the waist down; we realize the importance of partnership. For those of us who are single, when someone approaches us, it's not some snobby gang up it's more like...just go with the flow.

We are all firm believers of: you never know what is going to happen.

It is hard to find a connection or a date organically sometimes. So, if the chance arises. Go for it. No harm no fowl.

I'll also be honest, my friends and I come from European immigrant families, so our approach to things I find are a lot more fun, relaxed and without anger or attitude. It's like...whatever...We see women in packs and don't get it, but full acknowledge we don't need to. All we are in control of it our own behaviour.

Exactly. If we're on a dance floor and you're fun. Come join. You ask someone out and their say no or are taken. Move on. No bid deal, just don't keep pressing.

Unique? I think you meant to say amazing. They are amazing women for whom I am lucky to have the pleasure of spending time with, who at times attract the attention of men and get asked out. Go with the flow. Have fun That's it.

No I said what I meant.

I’m glad your friends are amazing. Mine too.. and that when we get together it’s to spend time together.
Maybe it’s a an age thing.

I don't have a preference. They each have their benefits.

For the "show"ers... it's nice to know from the get go what you are dealing with. There it is, you can assess it, and there you go. So nice and efficient. Admittedly a little more "woah" upon first glimpse. :)

The "grow"ers on the other hand are fun. It's like when you get those little pills that you put in water and wait to see what animal comes from it. It's a surprise and fun to watch. :D

Ok, if I am everything need of a pick-up line, I'm going to use "Would you like to see a magic trick?"

Should I add " ...in my pants."? Or, does that give away the surprise.

Hey! Where are you going? Come back here! Watch me pull a rabbit outa my hat...

I think the answer to my question liked in it being a rural area, two hours from a major city.

I think half the people in my office dress inappropriately. Some think it's a night club. Some think it's a beach. They haven't concept of "business casual".

Strutting in heels? Cool. I try not to laugh at young women tottering heels while some fifty-ish woman runs across the tiles in three or four inch spikes...
